Protective Fishing Rod Case

Uploaded on January 24, 2012

A fishing rod case that is sturdy, strong, and cheap can be made in under five minutes. First you get a PVC pipe that is an inch to two inches wide. The pipe can be about three feet, or depending on how long your rod is. All you need to do is glue a fitting PVC cap onto one end of the PVC pipe. Then you just put a cap on the other end. You can mark the unglued cap so you know which cap comes off. For extra protection, you can insert felt or any type of soft material into the caps to protect the rod tips from taking to much damage. This is a cheap yet sturdy way to make a rod case in under 5 minutes.
