When to use a ground blind .

Uploaded on February 04, 2013

One morning an experienced turkey hunter observed me after he placed me in a prime spot. Noticing I was having a problem sitting still on the ground (back surgery), he suggested that I would be more comfortable and still if I were to use a ground blind. I agreed. I had a ground blind and used it with more comfort and relief. The chair offered much needed back support and I was able to sit still and bag a @26 1/2 lb. tom with an 11" beard! To my friend who was paying attention and all who have some sort of back ailment, "Where there's a will, there's a way" .

I'm fidgety, too. Just bought a ground blind that I wish I'd bought for deer season. Can't wait to try it out for Spring Turkey season. Thanks!
