Uploaded on March 13, 2009

I am looking at purchasing a new call. Can anyone recommend any of the newer box calls that have come out recently? Thanks.

Knight and Hale Hammerhead. It is basically a sound board within a sound board, and completely waterproof at that! It is available at Cabela's for $40. Good luck!

Lynch Foolproof is only about 20 bucks, sounds great and is very easy to use. It has a positive stop that helps you make every yelp sound alike right from the start. I have 4 boxcalls one custom call cost $100 but I like the foolproof better. It has lured many Gobblers to their demise.

Del, is right. For an over the counter call the old Lynch's fool proof is hard to beat.

Del, do I know the fellow that built that custom call?

I agree with Lynch but prefer the World Champion. Mine has been hand tuned a bit by a "local expert" (not me).
