The Turkey Roost
I have heard several different scouting methods, personally I like going out at dusk and listening and walking and after dark blowing an owl call here and there to see if I get a response. What are your methods?

usually in the winter i drive around, and i get a feel for where the flocks are, and typically in the spring they will disperse in the same area. i dont do much scouting anymore, i have my properties and i know birds are on them.
I used to scout and gobble and call the evening before season and try to find out where a gobbler was going to roost, but now I wised up and I know that turkeys are on our property and the spot I go to opening morning has had a gobbler there for the last 4 opening mornings. I think I was making them more wise.
I just find lots of sign, and place a gamecamera near a possible roost or food source ( in spring or fall). In spring, I always look for hens, after all, spring is the turkey breeding season (or rut)
