Primos Gobbler Vest

Uploaded on October 18, 2011

My new Primos Gobbler Vest came in today and it is awesome. Some of my favorite additions include the easy to access box call silencer/holster, the closed cell cushion that detaches by magnet, and the easy access slate call holders. There are more than enough pockets and compartments for all of your gear and there is even a game/decoy compartment in the back. The one thing I don't like is the metal buttons which are loud and hard to snap closed. This vest is comfortable and convenient. It is by far the best vest I have ever owned (Probably because I swear by Primos). Anyone else like or dislike this vest?

I got an Ol Tom vest from macks prairie wings. I love the vest cant say I would change anything yet. As for your primos vest I think its nice but like you said about the buttons they are loud. I would pick My Ol Tom over the Primos.

I also have the Primos Gobbler Vest. I am a turkey fanatic and have used many vest's over the years and for my style of turkey hunting the PGV is the best vest as far as I am concerned. The debate over the best turkey vest relates more to how you hunt turkeys than how the vest is setup. Its just like the debate over a Ford F-150 or a Chevy 1500, it boils down to what you need it for and mostly, personal preference.
