The Turkey Roost
I can't find Turkey shot for my 16 gauge... what would be a good alternative, or do you know where i can get some?

I don't know if they make any "official" turkey loads for 16ga. Does your shotgun shoot 3" shells? I don't think any gunmaker is making/has made a gun that does.
A "turkey" load is completely unnecessary anyhow. Get a box of numer 4's or 6's 1 1/8, or 1 1/4 worth of shot ...basically any high brass or game load will work fine.
My problem with "official" turkey loads (and yes I shoot them) is that people think they can make 35, 40, 50 yard shots and consistently drop birds or worse yet, take non-head/neck shots. Turkeys are a tough bird with a lot of body mass. Even if a mega powerful, ultra mag 3 1/2 inch cooper coated turkey load blows a bird half to heck with a bowling ball sized pattern worth of shot to the body, they can still roll up and run a couple hundred yards and never be found.
Use game loads in your 16ga and take good shots and you'll have no problem bagging birds.
Call 'em in close...30 yds +/-...and crush 'em with Fiocchi Golden Pheasant #5's. Works great out of my old Stevens 94.
