The Turkey Roost
So what is everyone's favorite mouth/diaphram call? I'm looking to get a few new ones, want to know what you think? Any advice?

primos diamond cutter and H.S. strut raspy old hen are what i use. the primos really is pretty easy to cut on and sounds great. raspy old hen sounds just like the name, a raspy old hen, and compared to the primos,it just sounds a bit more real to me. but they still like the primos call so ill continue to use it.
primos aframe and the flextone ones by michael waddell like the spur collector
Primos Diamond Cutter is also my call of choice. I like pretty much everything in the Primos line. The Will Primos addition is a little pricey compared to the rest, but it has a really good sound.
woodhaven Red Wasp . get's it done
^?
Knight & Hale Game and Predator Calls
DIG IT!
I literally lose my mouth calls from one year to the next and I don't know how I do so don't ask. But because of that I've used tons of different mouth calls and I always go back to a raspy old hen call. I don't have a favorite brand just a favorite tone.
I like the Woodhaven Stinger series, such as Red Wasp and Red Vyper. I have to bend the frame just a hair to get the proper clearance in my mouth to get all the rasp out of the calls. They are more expensive, but they last longer.
I like HS Strut 2 Reed raspy old hen, I plan on posting a video on my blog accessible hunter, any tips to make me a better caller?
I'm becoming a Knight & Hale fan more each season.
I use Spoon River turkey calls. I prefer locally and owned companies because I feel they pay more attention to detail giving you a better sounding call and the call you want. They cost the same as the big names but will do anything for you.
Call me an oddball but I really enjoy the Primos True Double over the diamond cutter simply because it all of the things you look for in a turkey call its raspy, it cuts like a knife through hot butter it purrs like a cat and its super easy to use. Diamond cutter is ok but I dont like it near as much as the true double
hs srutt raspy hen
The DEER30 Team has tried Primos, H.S. Strut, and Knight and Hale calls and we still go back to CANE CREEK mouth calls every season. Cane Creek calls offer great quality, tone, rasp, and are very simple to use.
