Why Do Liberals Hate Sarah Palin?

Uploaded on October 08, 2011

This is a post for all our liberal hunting friends on this website. Please, all you conservatives try not to post your thoughts on Sarah Palin, unless you would like to give a counter argument.

I really would like to see some reasons listed why a lot of liberals do not like this woman. It baffles me. So liberals go nuts, and try to persuade this Conservative why I should not like this woman.

Oh, and keep it respectful. We are adults, so no need for name-calling.

Are you kidding?

The only thing I have against Sarah Palin is that she got out of the presidential race. If she'd of stayed in I'd of donated money.

Very simple. Palin is a very good spokesperson for conservatism, and speaks out before record crowds on the failed, destructive policies of liberalism. Liberals attack the effective messengers...Fox News, Rush, Hannity, O'Rielly, and a host of other effective messengers. The other aspect is the left despises any potential fed. govt figure that isn't schooled in the socialist Ivy League. They are all deemed ignorant. It is a liberal click that who are guaranteed good positions in the fed. govt because their rich daddy gave lots of money to the schools endowment fund. Some become academics at these schools before taking up govt positions... chalkboard socialists who's economic theories have failed miserably. The Obama circle of influence includes a lot of them.

Run the largest state? Last I checked Alaska has a population of around a million souls...maybe a few less. And BTW, she "ran" it for half of her term then quit.

whitetailfreek,
Obviously, on this site I'm considered/accused of being a flaming liberal, but truthfully I consider myself pretty much a centrist, maybe slightly left of center.
I don't know why you'd get the impression I hate Sarah...I don't.
But the truth is she was plucked from obscurity in a desperate attempt by candidate McCain in a Hail Mary shot at getting the women's vote. She hasn't displayed any knowledge other than the Republican talking points in general.
She has parlayed her sudden celebrity status to the max though.
Much like Reagan in his failed earlier attempts at public office where he hit the books and became knowledgeable about the issues of the day, Sarah could do likewise.
But she'll never outlive her quitting halfway through her term as Alaska's Governor when the heat was on.

Not really Moishe, you've even said so yourself that you agree with me on occasion.
Mostly, I try to keep in mind we had 2 choices, McCain or Obama.
Obama's big thing was healthcare...he/we didn't get close to what was/is needed...but it's a begining.
Most here interperate my pointing out the difference between the facts and the bumper sticker rhetoric most of you guys live to post.
Now like it or not, Obama's the President, when he fails, or is obstructed at every step, it's not just him who suffers...it's the country. As an example, by the end of his first term, President Obama will have signed into law a series of tax cuts that, taken together, exceed the value of those signed into law by President Bush, but yet the Republican talkers have re-defined the English language as in Obama is a tax raiser, leaving out the important qualifyer of Obama wanting to restore tax rates to the levels in force during the 1980's.
Whats really sad is, you all just lap it up as gospel.

Hoski, I didn't really post names on here, because I don't know your feelings about the woman.

But you can not deny that a lot of liberals are strongly against the woman, and have been trying to smear her name on many levels. Hence all the lawsuits that drove her out of the governorship. Again, how many of those "ethics violations" stuck? Seems real convenient that they were all dropped when she resigned so her family didn't have to deal with the crap being shoveled on her.

Hoski...NO, Obama's healthcare is NOT a beginning! It is the end! It WILL be repealed. The beginning would have been to consider ECON 101 which you are incapable of doing along with Obama and the left, AND go line by line agreeing on what would CUT THE COST OF HEALTH CARE, NOT RAISE IT!!! That is what the GOP wanted to do agreeing that healthcare needed to be reformed. Time after time you where the big sign on your forehead.."I am stupid when it comes to good economics"

whitetailfreek,
Agreed, lots of liberals/Democrats/Progressive, heck, even some Republicans are strongly opposed to her candidacy. IMO because of the very reasons I listed.
As to the ethics violations alleged while serving as Governor, why’d she quit? Why didn’t she stay on and fight the charges? Why not prove her innocence and expose the charges as frivolous political wrangling? Please refrain from trying to convince me it was because defending herself would’ve bankrupted her, as a public official she’d have had a whole bevy of legal experts at her disposal. The only financial risk would’ve come IF she’d been convicted.

Hoski,

I will answer your question with more questions. Why did they drop the allegations once she quit? Why haven't they came back up again now that she is even more of a political voice in America? She may not have the political sway as a governor, but she is reaching out to even more Americans now that she resigned. PLUS, she is raking in butt-loads of money for the conservative agenda. I think she made the right choice in the end.

You don't think her position that I can't get the peoples work done because liberals have 17 frivolous lawsuits against me that I have to spend all my time defending as well as spending a lot of my own money has any merit? Think before you call her a quitter. She made a good decision.

The liberals hated her when she first came on the scene. This was before she resigned or had the reality TV show. She was the anti-liberal woman in politics.

Among other things,
She was a hunter
She had five kids
She professes to be a Christian
She is not a feminist
She was not educated in an Ivy League institution
She called things as she saw them
She went after establishment Democrats and Republicans

This rankled many liberals early on and so the movement began to make her look like an idiot in the same way the media props up Obama as some kind of genius. She at least has proof that she didn't get where she is through affirmative action.

Good post....this election is a lot about the WA Establishment, and what they have done to create a big country club for themselves, and have created massive debt. The hypocrisy of creating laws we have to abide by, and they do not. The Tea Party, led by Palin, has attacked that, and they do not want their boat rocked. There's no way to answer your question of why the charges haven't been pursued. IMO because she's no longer relevent in Alaska's Govt. My point stands, she could've fought the charges if she trully believed they were frivolous.
Has she become a spokeswomen for the conservative party? Yes.
But quote for me one single new idea she's put forward.
She repeats the same old tired talking points that any other conservative can.
Has she made a boat load of money? Yep, keep sending it to her, she'll find some use for it.

You do not know why the charges were dropped? lol! What is your point?..that you continue to be braindead? They were frivolous worthless charges designed to bankrupt Palin, and have her occupy all of her time defending herself...all were finally dropped, and thrown out. Why did the voter count litigation fail during the Florida election for democrats when lawyers besieged the state trying to sway the election in the courts for democrats? This is the way progressives operate just like the Wall St. demonstrations that have resulted in all the arrests...whatever it takes to stay in power. Is this any different than Pelosi yesterday accusing conservatives of voting for pregnant women to die on the floor by voting against tax payer funded abortion? 11 democrats, by the way Nancy, also voted with the GOP to not tax payer fund abortion. Radical lies, whatever works for liberals.

O' THIS IS TO FUNNY!

THE TRUTH - LIBERAL WOMEN ARE JEALOUS OF SARAH PALIN
Posted by Mike Silverman on Saturday, September 13, 2008 5:34:14 AM
The more I ponder the vitriol and venom that liberal women are spewing like acid at Sarah Palin, the more I have boiled it down to something less complicated than ideology from them. Sarah Palin is what they wish they could be. These liberal ladies want to have the cheers and throngs of full throated support that Sarah has, and they hate the fact that Sarah is an attractive Republican woman. She's strong, confident, Conservative, happy with her life, beautiful and admired by millions. The liberal female pundits, radical feminists and hollywood kooks who have cultivated thier narrow political audiences are bewildered and jealous over this. Sure there's some ideology mixed in, but I think it's used more as a cover for the seething jealousy of her popularity. To these liberal ladies, "they" are supposed to be the pinnacle of popularity. They have prostituted themsleves to the ideology of a fringe viewpoint , and as a result they get "in" to the elite gatherings of social snobbery that represent that radical view of the country. But , do they really believe the lunacy of the liberalism they spew, or are they towing the line so that they can keep that "in" crowd venue with the mopy miserable depressed liberals who wring thier hands at the unfairness of life, financial success, and carbon-dioxide? I think they secretly wish they could "be" Sarah Palin, because Sarah has not had to go "phony" and be something that "others" want her to be in order to "fit in" with the super egos of radical beligerants. She's not one of them. Sarah doesn't care to rub shoulders with the illuminati of liberal inner circles. It doesn't make sense to the liberal mindset. In thier world view there are not supposed to be "normal" people in this country. Or, at least the "normal" people are supposed to be the "fringe" nutcases not the rallying point of the great majority. But the rest of us know why Sarah is popular. Precisely because she represents the core values we cherish most.

Subject: Conservatives/Liberals
Humans originally existed as members of small bands of nomadic hunters/gatherers. They lived on deer in the mountains during the summer and would go to the coast and live on fish and lobster in the winter.
-
The two most important events in all of history were the invention of beer and the invention of the wheel. The wheel was invented to get man to the beer. These were the foundation of modern civilization and together were the catalyst for the splitting of humanity into two distinct subgroups:
-
1. Liberals; and
2. Conservatives
-
Once beer was discovered, it required grain and that was the beginning of agriculture. Neither the glass bottle nor aluminum can were invented yet, so while our early humans were sitting around waiting for them to be invented, they just stayed close to the brewery. That's how villages were formed.
-
Some men spent their days tracking and killing animals to B-B-Q at night while they were drinking beer. This was the beginning of what is known as the Conservative movement.
-
Other men who were weaker and less skilled at hunting learned to live off the conservatives by showing up for the nightly B-B-Q's and doing the sewing, fetching, and hair dressing. This was the beginning of the Liberal movement.
-
Some of these liberal men eventually evolved into women. The rest became known as girlie-men.
-
Some noteworthy liberal achievements include the domestication of cats, the invention of group therapy, group hugs, and the concept of Democratic voting to decide how to divide the meat and beer that conservatives provided.
-
Over the years conservatives came to be symbolized by the largest, most powerful land animal on earth, the elephant. Liberals are symbolized by the jackass.
-
Modern liberals like imported beer (with lime added), but most prefer white wine or imported bottled water. They eat raw fish but like their beef well done. Sushi, tofu, and French food are standard liberal fare.
-
-Another interesting evolutionary side note: most of their women have higher testosterone levels than their men. Most social workers, personal injury attorneys, journalists, dreamers in Hollywood and group
therapists are liberals. Liberals invented the designated hitter rule because it wasn't fair to make the pitcher also bat.
-
Conservatives drink domestic beer. They eat red meat and still provide for their women. Conservatives are big-game hunters, rodeo cowboys, Polymer Science PhDs, lumberjacks, construction workers, firemen, medical doctors, Physicists, police officers, corporate executives, athletes, Marines, and generally anyone who works productively. Conservatives who own companies hire other conservatives who want to work for a living.
-
Liberals produce little or nothing. They like to govern the producers and decide what to do with the production. Liberals believe Europeans are more enlightened than Americans. That is why most of the liberals remained in Europe when conservatives were coming to America. They crept in after the Wild West was tamed and created a business of trying to get more for nothing.
-
Here ends today's lesson in world history: It should be noted that a Liberal may have a momentary urge to angrily respond to the above before forwarding it. A Conservative will simply laugh and be so
convinced of the absolute truth of this history that it will be forwarded immediately to other true believers and to more liberals just to piss them off.

How to Argue with a Liberal
Voice-over: And now, Forced Perspectives with Buzz Clearcut.
(Remainder spoken by Buzz Clearcut.)
As a conservative, arguing with liberals must sometimes feel like a complete waste of time and energy. You can make your point over and over again and yet find the argument inevitably circling back to the same places for yet another round, as if you hadn't said anything at all. It can be immensely frustrating. Yet I believe that a simple understanding of the different, "diverse" ways in which liberals think may be illuminating, and may come to the assistance of compassionate conservatives who believe in the importance of helping the liberal "mind" to gain a more fruitful relationship with reality. With the expenditure of a little patience, empathy, and understanding, you can convince even the most ardent liberal of the urgency of discarding his erroneous beliefs in favor of those that are more acceptable.
The first problem you will likely run into is that liberals are often very deficient in their sense of authority – that is, regardless of the fact that you may prove to them, conclusively, that a certain fact has been sanctioned by the very most appropriate official, or someone whose credentials are entirely impeccable, the liberal may look at you as if you had just suggested that the Pope should act as arbiter in a discussion about abortion. (under breath: Why they should have a problem with this, I do not know; if you can't trust the Pope, who can you trust?)
note: this paragraph is a rewrite of a section inserted by an anonymous contributor; not yet sure if it flows with the rest of the piece:
Ever try to talk facts to a liberal when the subject is global warming? Never mind that the best conservative authorities have shown that their data is all fudged from the same broken thermometer stuck in some prof's window at Berkeley; if you show them the real data which shows that we're actually going into an ice age, they just change terminology and start babbling about "climate change"! As if a global ice age presented some kind of "problem" we needed to spend vast amounts of our tax dollars to "solve", when all it really means is lower cooling bills in the summer and easier storage for deer meat after a good hunt. When arguing with a liberal, there's just no point in bringing up these facts because, as the notorious Nazi sympathizer Heidegger liked to say, the time for decisions is over!
If you are truly determined to try to pound some understanding into a liberal's head, then, the only apparent means at this point is to go to all the tedious trouble of finding some so-called "objective data" – only with these credentials attached does the carefully shuttered liberal mind allow new ideas to enter. This may seem like reinventing the wheel, as obviously the authority you cited earlier has already done the research, found the facts, and evaluated them using the full benefit of his experience and education, in a manner that is obviously far superior to any analysis or understanding by unqualified individuals; it is simply an unfortunate and unpleasant fact of the liberal mentality that he needs the crutch of believing that the truth you are trying to convey has been somehow anointed by having so-called "supporting evidence" attached to it. Without this ritual of purification, he simply won't listen. It doesn't matter if you are quoting the President himself; he has an obsessive need to question, and – like a dog which must circle three times before lying down – he cannot rest until that obsession has been satisfied.
A related problem is that liberals have no respect for tradition. To a liberal, it doesn't matter if a custom has existed since the dawn of Western Civilization; they are willing to discard tradition like you or I would take out the trash, if they no longer find it personally gratifying. In defending our civilization from having its very foundations undercut, then, you will once again have to reinvent the wheel, doing the work – which the principle of division of labor has taught us is best left to experts – of rehashing history and explaining, slowly and carefully, just how it is that up is up, the sky is blue, and homosexuality is against God's will.
Another common mistake is to assume that a liberal will know when he is beaten. You may think you have scored a clear victory by not only citing the appropriate authority on each matter but utterly humiliating the liberal in the process – and yet he will keep coming back for more punishment.
What you must understand here is that liberals have no sense of dignity. They are quite willing to be humiliated and taunted in the service of their righteousness. Crawling through slime and offal does not offend them; living the lives they do, of course, many of them are quite accustomed to it.
However, although they are quite willing to subject themselves to it in the name of their many causes, they will typically become argumentative and difficult if they believe others can be blamed for it. In other words, you have to be careful: when you are rubbing a liberal's nose in his own mess, you must be sure not to let him see you doing it; otherwise it will cost you points in the dominance game which they laughably call "reasoned discussion". This is a common tactical mistake made by many fine conservatives who have taken on the often odious task of debating with a liberal, put up a good fight, found themselves victorious despite overwhelming odds and the complicity of the liberal media elite in clouding the issues – only to lose in the eyes of public opinion, on the technicality of having not "fought fair". Clever manipulations of logic which would clearly demonstrate your intellectual superiority to any rational opponent are seen, to the weak-minded liberal who cannot tolerate the existence of anything superior, as a form of cheating. Thus, in the name of "fairness", you must fight with one hand tied behind your back at all times, deprived of your main weapon.
Another problem related to this is that liberals do not respect strength. They are innately weak and indecisive, and they instinctively work to tear down anything stronger or better than themselves. Like hyenas circling a wounded lion, they will nip and slash when you are not looking, until you finally succumb to their superior numbers. You will again hear the pathetic bleats of "fairness!" and "equality!", knocking your legs out from under you as you turn to face each new assailant.
Fortunately, you can turn this to your advantage. What you have to do can be somewhat humiliating, but I am afraid it is the only way: you must – temporarily, of course – lower yourself to their level, go down among them, and behave as they behave. Only then will they accord you peer status, allow you provisional membership in their in-group, and accord you anything approaching the dignity of civil discourse with them.
You too must speak in terms of "fairness" and "equality", regardless of the obvious absurdity. Liberals live in a world where everything is as they wish it was, rather than how it really is, and they insist on setting any discussion in these terms; you too must chant these sacred words, or else be cast out as an unbeliever.
Fortunately, it is possible – though difficult – to rephrase a rational worldview in terms comprehensible to the liberal mind. I present to you a brief guide to liberal doublespeak, in the hope that it may aid your attempts to convince liberals that you are interested in communicating with them, despite the known impossibility of such communication.
authority: As liberals do not respect authority per se, we have to explain the concept in simple terms that even a liberal can understand. What seems to work best is the following little story:
Imagine that you are trying to make a decision about some complicated and important thing. Along comes a person who has far more experience with this thing than you. Should you take his opinion seriously? If the answer is "yes" (which of course it is), then that person is an authority. If that person then graciously advises you on your decision, giving you the benefit of his years of experience, then of course you need to go along with whatever they say, because they are the authority.
It's certainly true that sometimes we have to act on our own, but most of the time, thank goodness, when it comes to complicated questions of government policy or what's right and wrong, we have experienced authorities to show us the right way.
Liberals, of course, being not the most mentally agile athletes in the gymnasium, may object to even this plain and simple truth; lacking something of a sense of the abstract, and above all lacking in trust and faith, they must actually see concrete proof of all qualifications. As if that wasn't enough, they will often pick apart those hard-earned qualifications, feasting greedily upon any inconsistencies they may find, until there is seemingly nothing left. While this sort of behavior can be very difficult to tolerate, it can ultimately pay off when you find the "right" authority whose qualifications the liberals, for reasons we may never understand, choose to accept.
tradition is more difficult; often the best you can do is explain it as a sort of "scientific experiment" (another magical incantation known to turn locks in the liberal mind) supported by thousands of years of "data". This can be a double-edged sword, however, as liberals will use some "scientific" mumbo-jumbo about "controls" and "eliminating bias" to claim that a tradition, rather than proving its rightness through the survival of its followers against the pitfalls of temptation and adversity, proves somehow that we need "more data" – which is of course a liberal code-phrase for breaking tradition and relaxing social standards. The best course of action is to point out the failures of destroying traditions without a suitable substitute in place. Liberals usually want to throw out tradition in the name of "equality", so you'll need to tread carefully here. When in doubt, use the children. Point out the effect of the libertine message on children and its selfish outcomes: teen sex, teen violence, etc. Liberals really do love children; they're just ignorant of how they're trampled by the promotion of Thug living and promiscuity. You can also dig out some nice hard data gathered during the AIDS epidemic to show homosexual promiscuity. That REALLY makes their eyes bulge, especially when the researchers are gay! Follow it up with a "nowadays, most of them lie to researchers to further political aims" and you may cause them to blow a gasket.
strength, as such, is a perplexing concept to a liberal; instead of respecting the need for strong leaders, they see anyone stronger or better than themselves as a threat, highlighting their own inferiority. They want a world where, as a well-known liberal radio personality once solemnly declaimed, "all the children are above-average", uniformly arrayed in their mediocrity. You need to point out the "strength" of government in the ways that it really matters. Liberals actually believe that Big Brother is George Bush listening in to our cell phone calls, instead of Child Protective Services taking your kids away on suspicion alone. They don't understand the founding principles of this country, since they are no longer taught in public schools, but you can try to quote Washington to them. "Government is not reason, it is not eloquence, it is force. Like fire, it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master." If they look confused just get out a dollar bill and explain that these people founded the greatest country in the history of the planet. Tell them power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely, that that won't ever change and so government is not the answer and it's "strength" to tax our industry and run our lives must be curtailed or there is no freedom. They love freedom, as a concept anyway. Keep hammering that "strength" of the government reduces the power of the people and their freedom. Illustrate this fact with the African American community, who has the most government intervention in their lives and pays the highest price for it.
Possibly the only way to convey the value of strength to a liberal is to ask them: What would happen if we had no strong farmers, to operate the machines which work our nation's great industrial farming complexes? What would happen if we had no strong auto mechanics, capable of winching the heavy engines and wrenching tight the bolts of the automobiles and trucks upon which we depend for our daily lives? And what, more to the point, would happen if we had no strong leaders to command the soldiers holding back the wolf at our gate, whether that gate is here or in some far-off country? I'm sure the liberal response to those points will be at least entertaining.
These are just a few examples of fundamental principles of our society which liberals apparently were not taught (or declined to learn) in grade school. With a little imagination, and some suitable verbal contortions (and perhaps with the aid of appropriate pharmaceuticals) you may be able to re-imagine more such words in liberal terms, thus making it possible – with a great deal of difficulty, and the willingness to sacrifice one's dignity for a greater cause – for liberals to slowly and painfully acquire a better understanding of the world around them, which we can only hope may one day lead to a better world for all of us – in which authority, strength, and tradition are given proper respect, and liberals know their place. Fascism won't come with brown shirts and jackboots; it will come with government enforcement of "good ideas". We can only hope that liberals will open their eyes to the menace of our leviathan government and stop feeding the tyranny of the majority.

Whale* sorry

WHY THIS WEB SITE ? usefuidiots.com

Useful idiots is a name that no group of people would like to be called. It is however, what most Americans are relied upon to be by the powers that be. When the voting segment of our country fails to vote to stay free and instead allows itself to fall for the same old word games and mind manipulation, it sadly earns the title of useful idiots. In contemporary America, too many Americans are naive about their political "system" and its politicians. Therefore, we are as a people, where we are, because we allow it to be so. You see, America is a land of plenty, plenty of food, plenty of money, plenty of gods, plenty of corrupt politicians and alas, plenty of useful idiots that repetively vote for them.

America is also a land of plenty of mindless indifference towards the useful idiots and where their misguided votes are taking all of us. If this was of no consequence to the rest of America we could laugh at the idiocy; however, much in every way, we are impacted. Therefore, this site was created to identify the idiocy, explain it and seek to end it. We hope we can awaken some people to their errant ways by challenging them to see how arrogant politicians exploit their inadvertent "idiocy" and as a result, motivate them to reject the idiot's role once and for all.

We have observed that the conversion of the public consensus from dependency on God, self and family to dependency upon socialism is accomplished through incrementally rearranging how Americans view themselves and their place in the world. This systematic approach succeeds as long as it is done step by step via skillful propaganda in conjunction with an effectual dumbing down of the American people; these changes are accepted when done slowly.

While we are not necessarily conspiracy adherents, we can't help but see obvious patterns emerging to some of our governments focus and draw logical conclusions. Toward that end, our main purpose is to reveal the motive and process of these changes and to cause the alarm and healthy rational fear and skepticism needed to stop the socialism and the corrosive thinking behind it before it ruins our country.

The liberals hated her when she first came on the scene. This was before she resigned or had the reality TV show. She was the anti-liberal woman in politics.

Among other things,
She was a hunter
She had five kids
She professes to be a Christian
She is not a feminist
She was not educated in an Ivy League institution
She called things as she saw them
She went after establishment Democrats and Republicans

This rankled many liberals early on and so the movement began to make her look like an idiot in the same way the media props up Obama as some kind of genius. She at least has proof that she didn't get where she is through affirmative action.

WA MTNhunter...Maybe in your mind, but who calls her a quitter? Not even the liberal media says that about her. She isn't running other than constantly running against liberalism, and that's a good thing. You don't think her position that I can't get the peoples work done because liberals have 17 frivolous lawsuits against me that I have to spend all my time defending as well as spending a lot of my own money has any merit? Think before you call her a quitter. She made a good decision.
