Another Idiot Hurts Our Cause
Uploaded on January 19, 2013Today at a gun show in Raleigh, North Carolina an idiot brought a loaded shotgun in a case to the gun show to sell as a private seller. While being checked by a law enforcement officer as he entered the building he unzipped the case pulled the trigger and two people plus the law enforcement officer were shot. Two of the people were taken by ambulance. We need now more than ever to show that we are responsible and safe firearms owners and handlers and don't need things like this in the news. From what they said he would have been allowed to set up and sell inside the gun show without a license. I have a problem with this as I have said before.

Dumb mistake. Too bad, this will probably be brought up again, and again to prove how dangerous guns, and gun shows are.
I think we should outlaw knives do you know how many people have been cut, stab, killed, held at point and robed, raped by knife.

Stupid...stupid...stupid...!! Careless...careless...careless...!!
On the news there were two other cases this past weekend of shootings at gun shows. One a private individual at the show sold a loaded gun and the new buyer shot someone else while "fooling around" with his new gun. The other was because of a loaded gun at the gunshow also. When will these stupid people ever learn.
In Atlanta this Sunday, the Falcons played the 49ers in the super bowl playoffs, well the Falcons lost and two football fans, one Falcons fan and one 49ers fan, got into an argument and one ended up stabbing the other, man I hate downtown Atlanta, well actually I hate downtown anywhere!
Totally agree with you Sarge, stuff like this couldn't have come at a worse time as far as public perception goes.
One of the incidents you describe happened not too far from here in Medina,OH.
The Dealer who purchased the pistol correctly ejected the mag (it was full!) but failed to cycle the slide...yep, round chambered, it went bang. At least the dealer had enough sense to have it pointed at the floor, it was the ricochet that injured 3.
Dumb, dumb, dumb.
It is 1:55PM on the 22nd and it just came across the news that shots had been fired at a college in Houston, Tx. No details yet what has happened. When will these idiots quit this madness?

There is a difference between nut bags and idiots. Shooter in Houston... nut bag. Shooters at gun shows... idiots. You boys also don't help your cause with idiotic comments like those from missedit above, or cold dead hands type lines either, just makes the public think your all scary idiots.
We just had a stabbing in our small town last night. Seemed like there was a woman in the middle of the confortation.
i thought this heading was appropiate for my comment. does F&S really think a rational and sane conversation can be had with this half wit of a VP about gun laws?
