Band on Hand Guns in Illionois

Has anybody heard about the congressman are wanting to band handguns in Illinois.

It's not going to stop handguns from falling into the wrong hands. Handguns are banned in New York City and people are still mugged and beaten at gunpoint, some unfortunate ones even get shot. Whoever came up with the idea of "no cruel and unusual punishment" was obviously never a victim of a violent crime. That law should be thrown out the window along with about a half dozen other laws that require prisons to provide food, water, and some other basic amenities to their prisoners. If we had a punishment system that would make people think before they act rather than think for the rest of their lives on our dime, then I would say we had achieved true justice. Any objections?

Are you talking about the Supreme Court hearing the case concerning the Chicago ban? Similar to the one that was just heard about the DC ban? Hopefully the results will be the same.
