Anyone get May's issue yet. I was reading it last night and ran across an article that said they have a scoring class for does. In like 10 states the doe has to measure 90 inches from the nose to the tip of the tail in order to score in the Big Mamas Club. In the other 40 states it is 100 inches. You can also measure other parts of the doe too. Check out your May issue to see what I mean.
Lame, real lame.
I measure does by how many cubic feet they fill up in the freezer. What is it with the obsession for scoring animals? I don't use numbers to compare myself to other people. I measure myself against my own estimate of my potential and whether I have done the best job I am capable of. In any endeavor not just hunting.
