Harrisburg Sports Show Canceled

Uploaded on January 24, 2013

The event producers announced because of all of the vendors pulling out of the show that the show has been postponed. I think that the vendors have made a statement and we should patronize the vendors that took a stand.

On a side note maybe the Senators and Congressmen should take notice when they start talking bad about modern sporting rifles and doing away with them. Alot of them are up for relection in a year or two.

I applaud the vendors for taking a stand. We usually go every year and stay overnight. Knowing that they were excluding "Modern sporting Rifles", we were skipping it this year.

Since MSR's and other firearms are not generally sold in shows, that fact never got in the way of Seattle City Council banning any firearm from city property effectively killng the Seattle Sportsmans Exposition years ago.

Yes...I know (and F & S is STILL advertising it on this forum)...!!

Those who took a stand DESERVE our patronage. The rest are nothing more than paranoid WIMPS...!!

This is a wake up call for all future Sportsmen Show Promoters.
Don't ever mess with are gun rights.
I want to thank everyone who joined this Boycott. You all just shut down the largest Sportsmen Show on the east coast. Your support just cleared the way for the all future sportsmen shows across this great country. Thank You!

Great! Good on the vendors and NRA for leading the way in pull-outs. I sure wanted to attend but I'm glad they had to pull the plug. Maybe they'll begin to understand that 40-45% of Americans have guns in their home, that we're one of the largest voting contingencies in the nation, and when we walk, they lose business...it's that simple.

I pulled out because the cost of doing the show was not worth it. I I sold to a very % of fishermen but traveling, hotel, food, and cost of a booth is too much.

I sell a relatively cheap invention called BulletBobbers and DualFins. They plane left or right and flip direction when given a little tug. For those that will miss me at the show please stop by www.bulletbobber.com
