Taken from the St. Louis Post dispatch:
Gov. Pat Quinn named Marc Miller to the top post at the Illinois Department of Natural Resources after firing the previous director, an appointee of former Gov. Rod Blagojevich, yesterday.
Blagojevich had appointed former state Rep. Kurt Granberg to head the DNR last month, but his nomination had not been confirmed by the state Senate, so Quinn could withdraw it.
Quinn called Miller, 39, who joined the Quinn’s lieutenant governor’s staff in June 2004, a dedicated conservationist and a natural resources professional.
Quinn became governor last Thursday after the state Senate removed Blagojevich from office.
“Marc Miller is an expert in managing and protecting our state’s precious natural resources and will run a very professional agency,” Quinn said.
“Marc is an avid outdoorsman dedicated to promoting the public’s safe use and greater understanding of our state’s parks, waterways and other natural resources,” Quinn said.
Rod Bla-son-of-a-bitch had named a chicago buddy the head of DNR even though he did not have any formal education dealing with wildlife or fish and claimed he was not an outdoorsman. Hats off to Gov. Quinn for nominating someone that appears to be an outdoorsman.

Does this mean we can get rid of the FOID card?
Does this mean that we can kick Blago in the nuts?
