I was looking in my Cabelas catelog last night, and I came across an item. It is a fake gut pile that comes in a bag. It isn't real but it supposed to smell and taste like a real fresh gut pile. They said it is good for luring coyotes within range, and is good for trapping. Anyone heard or tried this new product out?
I think it would take a while for the coyotes to come. Especially on a day where the wind goes the other direction. Overall it sounds like a good idea, i mean hey they are trying to come up with new ideas and make money, but the coyotes usually wait till dark in our area.

I haven't tried it but I trap a lot around gut piles and deer carcasses, I guess I know enough guys who gut there deer and let me know that I don't worry about it but it might work and if its cheap enough its not a bad idea for the part of the seasons there aren't any real piles
