road flares

Uploaded on February 28, 2012

Buy some road flares and keep at least one in your pack. They burn anywhere from 15 to 20 minutes, and very hot for that matter, even in the rain and snow.
I bought some on ebay from a reputable police dept. supplier and tested them out when I came upon a wreck on a Colorado highway this winter as luck would have it.
They are dummy proof and easily light even with very cold hands.
The minimal investment could save a life on a hunting trip, or a road wreck.

Hi...

Yes, that's something I ALWAYS carry afield and in my UTE. They are great for emergencies, including igniting wet wood.
