I have not been Ice Fishing, but I have worked on frozen over lakes in Alaska. I work Carhart bibs and jackets. They were very warm and not cumbersome at all. I still had full range of motion and was able to move freely. We would conduct ice operations by testing the thickness of the ice and make comparisons to data tables for weight distribution. Blue ice is the best for weight.
