The worst thing to happen when it comes to the Supreme Court is when a judge is appointed that doesn't consider the law or constitutionality of it, but rather take into account his/her feelings and emotions about the subject.
That is not what these judges are supposed to do. They are appointed to uphold our constitution.
It's a travesty she will be appointed.

How about ruling against the firemen in Conn. who scored well on the promotional exam? Because no minorities (or too few) did well enough to be promoted, the exam results were thrown out. The guys who did well on this exam (designed to identify the best candidates for the position regardless of race, gender, etc.)deserved to be promoted. They were penalized because of their race( white, coincidently). These firefighter who did well on the exam took it to court where Sotomayer ruled the city was right to throw out the test results. Coincidently the case now will be heard by The Supreme Court. Hopefully befor she is seated.

She was the best person for the job; however when you’re dealing with the Middle East it’s who you send with the message that counts!
