While very truthful, I highly doubt it was actually written by a real teacher. If I were going to officially chew somebody out that important in writing, I would have used proper grammar and punctuation.

Every time I see one of these, I check the validity. My wife gets scammed by stuff like this all the time, until I got her at least checking Scopes.com.

So, if that was a "real" letter, how did it come to the public domain?

-Remember, I do believe that the information within is true, just that the premise is false.

I checked on the validity- it is misattributed, and unclear as to its origin, but I like it anyhow.

Rabbitpolice, take it easy on mike… I followed the pertinent post, and I would just mention that no matter how strongly you believe in something, or how much evidence you provide, you will not always change someone else’s mind. Christianity is based on free will- the end results will be for each individual, and you are only truly responsible for yourself. If we spend all of our time grinding the ax, there are a lot of other good things we can miss out on… don’t get me wrong~ if a fight needs picked, pick it, just be careful that you do not make it personal. And try to take the high road if you can. I think someone said it a few days ago- if you go wrestle with the pigs, you will certainly get yourself dirty. As a fellow Christian, I encourage you to put your best foot forward and represent yourself according to what you believe so strongly…realizing that is easier said than done, and reflecting on some of my own previous mistakes, I just hope for better for all who call themselves Christian.

I personally wrote this.

I know. Many of you will say, "He's not MY president". Well like it or not...he is. I think it sucks too.

However, if we don't 'Raise Up' and let him know how we think about particular subjects, how is he to know? Here is what I wrote just this morning.

...in case anyone was wanting it. I don't think it will do any good, but it makes me feel better knowing that I at least TOLD him my thoughts. Perhaps if enough people take the time to write to this man, maybe God will soften, instead of hardening, his heart. It's our duty to "Tell him our opinions". Be respectful OF THE OFFICE. I know most of us do not respect him, but HE is not the OFFICE.

All we can do is fight, holler, bitch, protest and write letters, but hopefully, God willing, that will be enough. When God decides to take him out of office, he'll be out. Until then, keep the faith and keep up the fight!

Dear Mr. President,

With all the pressing issues that are on your plate already I would think that one of them must be more pressing than UNIVERSAL HEALTHCARE paid for by the taxpayer. If someone wants healthcare so bad let them buy it. It is NOT my responsibility to pay for that health care. I pay for my own already.

You have blown the Federal Budget up so large that our children, grand children, great, (and possibly) great-great grandchildren will still be paying for you outrageous ideas far, far into the future. I would urge you to reconsider Universal/National Healthcare for everyone. Your socialist agenda is NOT, in any way, within my line of thinking.

The American People cannot afford to pay for the health care of everyone in the United States.

Perhaps you should be concentrating on other things, such as:

How to pay for the future of:

The Deficient
Medicaid and Medicare
Social Security

A Strong Military Budget to include:
Missile Defense
Terrorist Defense
New Research for future Weapon Systems
Closing the Border
Driving Illegal Aliens from the US by:
By making it illegal, with massive fines, to employ
any non-US citizen how isn’t here with a work Visa

And stop funding things like:

The research on how alcohol affects prostitutes in China
The problem with the smell of pig feces
A new lawn for Memorial sites which costs hundreds of thousands of dollars

And other such things.

I would also urge the passage of a bill to make it NOT possible to add any “Line Items” to bills. If a Congressman or Senator wants something passed, then have a vote on that item and that item only on a bill separate unto itself.

This constant burden on the American People with the Government appropriating monies from “us” has to STOP. They can’t have everything they want for their constituents, paid for by people who are NOT their constituents. If a Congress person or Senator wants something for their people, let THEIR people pay for it, not everyone in the United States.

There is righteous justification for all of the Tea Parties happening across the United States of America.

We want a return to the Constitution as our Framers and Founding Fathers intended our Government to be; a government by the People and for the people.

I agree Jeff4066, while it is a well written piece I do not know if it was really sent. There are so many forwards nowdays it is unreal. But again it was well written.

I agree with everything this letter says but unless it finds it way onto a TELEPROMPTER somewhere i highly doubt our apologetic leader will read it.

Well, I am no preacher, and probably not near old enough to be your dad... but he is right and I have been down that road myself. I got a hold of that advice by some folks that came by their wisdom the hard way, and I learned from my mistakes and theirs too. By the way, you are lucky to have a dad you are proud of... I hope he can preach the message from this post in love, and still turn as many as possible against this new "regime".

This letter may not have been written by a 4th grade teacher but some one wrote it, with the intent to send a message. At the very least, it has made me think and I'm sure that the hearts of many American's will find similar passion's against liberalism's. Maybe it will even motivate a few of us to speak out as well. Who ever wrote it I'll give um two thumbs. Maybe the author is uncertain but the truth in the letter hold up to fact, the one sided media will not address. Thanks for standing up and holding on.
