Obama's "bow"
Uploaded on November 16, 2009I understand it's a proper greeting in Asian countrys to "bow" to each other as a form of greeting.
It is also my understanding that a "formal" bow takes place at no more than 45 degrees.
The "president"(notice I did'nt say "our/my") is photographed "bowing" to a asian "leader" at a 90 degree angle which to "them" is a sign of submission/sub-dominate posture.
First it's the "apologys" and bowing to the "king" of Saudi(what was his excuse for that one) and now this !
I'm ASHAMED of him and the "example" he's putting out to the world as an "american".

He is portraying himself and Americans in general as week and subserviant. In so doing he is emboldening our enemies and endangering our country. We kicked Japan's butt during WW2, there is no need for the President of one of the last remaining free countries in the world to ever bow or tie his shoe to anyone.
Like it or not, Obama is my president but his bow(s) show a lack of respect for the office of the Presidency. Can you imagine Ronald Reagan or George Washington bowing to a foreign monarch?
I am afraid that the blame-America-first club has taken over the Executive branch.

I don't know why President Barack Obama thought that was appropriate to do but to me it is not appropriate for an American President to bow to a foreign one in this case!!!
Well Canada does not have a better health care system, why do people cross the border to get medical attention here instead of staying in Canada? Could it be because it's government run healthcare? As to the white people comment I don't care what color the mans name is that runs our country if he is a good conservative president. The bass don't get as big in Canada and I just plain like the Good old U S of A way better. The land of the free and the home of the brave. The girls are prettier down here, well at least in the south they are.
take notice that the only people that travel for america's healthcare, are the ones who are pretty wealthy, or because America is very fond of treating illegal Aliens for FREE! Bass are fun, but try hookin a muskie, or a pike...they put bass to shame. You totally got me on the girls comment...I admit defeat there. As for the color thing, I don't care about HIS color, I care baout the hundreds and thousands that came out of the woodwork, who know nothing about politics, just to vote for him because he is black.
It's because right now we have the best health care in the world and the rate of survival after treatment is way better here. I have never caught a pike or muskie but they are ugly as galvanized sin and they have way too many teeth. They look like they have a lot of bones too. ( don't know but it looks like it) I agree with you about the uneducated voters, I would love to see a law passed that requires you to pass a test about how our government is supposed to work and some history of our country before they register to vote.
The rate of survival? What about the rate of murders? The rate of rape? The drop-out rate? The Suicide rate? Better yet, the crime rate in general. Or are we going to overlook "Rates" in every other column in order to glorify our broken healthcare system?
I don't know about yalls rates but at least you can buy a gun of any kind down here and not have to jump through 20 hoops. I have lot's of guns that aren't registered, it's kinda nice. Are the muskie a bony fish?
Same in Canada, a Muskies, "boniness" varies on the season, and how well the fish is eating, but if you are asking for eating reasons, then i have no idea. Most Muskie fisherman follow the catch and release rule, since they can't reproduce naturally in alot of areas in the States. They require a rocky bottom, most lakes in America are muddy.

you've obviously never worked with/for people of other color...they are more racist than most white people...and furthermore, you are correct, I am not doing the U.S any favors, getting shot at, blown up, and spending 27 months total away from my loved ones for a war that I have experienced first-hand is literally a joke. The media can tell you how much we are accomplishing over here, but we are killing random people...Wouldn't you be out trying to kill people if they were driving tanks, humvees, and M-RAPs up and down the streets your kids play in? or busting in houses to look for someone who was killed 6 months ago? i know i would...Don't get me wrong, I love what America USED to stand for, and i wish it would STILL stand for it, but right now...this country has some SERIOUS issues...
john, i'm with you. thanks for your service. rabbit, canada's health care is just as good as our... canada is a developed country too. semi-socialist, yes. but we can forgive them for that. as far as pike, yes they're boney but if you fillet them right, you don't lose any meat and the fillet is completely boneless.
Canada's a nice place to visit, but after being around the world a little, the U.S.A. is THE place to live. You guys up there are probably a close second, but you have to lighten up on the handgun issue,eh?
