What a waste!
Uploaded on July 20, 2009Newt Gingrich, Republican, served in the House from Georgia from 1978 and was Minority Whip in 1989. He was Speaker of the House from 1995-99. During that time he never made use of a military aircraft for his travel.
Enter Nancy Pelosi, Democrat from California, current Speaker of the House.
The Pentagon has been required to provide her with an Air Force plane large enough to accommodate her staff, family,supporters and members of the California delegation when she decides to travel around the world. But Pelosi isn't satisfied and wants a larger plane. It includes 42 business class seats, fully enclosed state room, entertainment center, a private bed, state of the art communication center and a crew of 16.
Her Air Force C-32 costs taxpayers $15,000.00 per hour and $300,000.00 for each trip home. And you know, along with the outrageous cost, I wonder what her carbon foot print is!!

nancy palovy can have a big "carbon footprint" and waste all that taxpayetr money during a debresiion becauise she is a figure of power(even though shes a crazy radical moron)and that means she doesnt have to follow what she preaches like dont waste money on stubid things, cut back, and drive a hybrid just look at the presedent he does the same thing and no one cares
Such a shame, we are supposed to be a gov. of the poeple, by the people, and for the people, and yet all I hear about is the lousy things politicians do. Would it be such a tragedy to have an honest politician or is this something that we can never have because it will never exist?
Pelosi is the kind of moron that wants big government for everyone...but herself, and she wants to run the show. These kinds support abortion as a form of population controll so that they can have more for themselves, they truly believe in the class system and view the populace as cattle. It is beyond me how the twits get elected... other than the barrage of lies and B.S. they spew. Who buys that crap? And then she turns around and whines about the multi-million dollar travel accomodations that gets piled on the backs of working class Americans. The entire country should have the option of using her face for T.P. It may even improve her looks!
funny the women is from "Cali forn ia" ( gotta love arnold) they are the most liberal and tree hugging bunch of hippies in the country but there congressman and senators waste more time money and energy than i thought was possible.
Is it just a coincidence that all the states in trouble financially are liberally run, and all the states that have a good economy still are conservative? It is time for these liberals to learn to budget just like a normal american that has to fend for themselves.

now now now, times have changed, and these VERY IMPORTANT PEOPLE NEED to be able to travel like this. I tink we should help fund the puchase of gulfstreams or learjets for all of our hardworking senators and congressman, hell think of all the lives that could have been saved if Teddy Kennedy had a private plane and some one to fly it.
Politicians waste some money. The democrats don't have the copyright on that.
To me, it just seems that democrats are more hypocritical about it, like this... extreme waste for personal ego in an era of cutbacks.
And what about "No more pork!" Obama?
