This is the closest thing to fishing when our wives take the keys and lock the boat in the garage then tell us to mow the lawn. Meanwhile shes cooking, sewing and yelling at the kids we sneak in a few words on F&S. LOL

I actually get a lot of downtime at work, and have internet access there. Also, when i have to stay home with the kids i can tune out the ruckous by going back and forth with you people! my 10 mo. old is a bit too young for most of my hunting and fishing endeavors, not all, but most. My 4 y.o. fishes with me regularly and loves to get in the woods.

this sounds kind of corny, but i am deployed right now and this all i have. i love nothin more than bein in the woods or on the water, and given my present situation that is not possible for me. so i am on this site alot to talk with fellow outdoorsmen and keep connected to wonderful life we enjoy in america. bein on this site and listenin to everyones stories about huntin and fishin and even some of the religous talk that some you do makes me realize why my brothers and sisters are here doin what they do.

mm when you have cruddy weather and mudd and floods and o plus alot of snow there isn't much fishing to be done cause the ice won't hold can't go coyote hunting cause of the roads and there isn't anyother season open so the next best thing is to get on and see what everyone else is doin and what to improve upon

LMAO... Some of us work as stated ... Weather patterns have (Wet weather in my case) kept me home this Sunday.

I hunt and fish as much as I can with my youngin (fishing) Not ready to hunt yet.
If I'm not hunting or fishing or working to include round the house I'm shooting a Bow or Gun or PMCSing my Fishing and Hunting Equipment.

I come on here to co mingle with others that share the outdoor lifestyle and love.
Plus Clay, Bee Keeper, CRM3006 and some others have some wild and funny stories at times.

And a "sockpuppet" ???? What is that? I'm well read, and a brilliant person, but never heard of a "sockpuppet" Hoski must be a lot older than I am, or it is a term used under the Big Tent. That all inclusive liberal tent that includes drug addicts, perverts, ring in the bellybutton folks. I may have to go without a bath for several weeks, let my hair grow, and drop under, and learn a few things how the other folks live, and communicate. They probably would question who I was like you liberals do when I didn't accept the pipe being passed around. Ah, Fu's dander is up! This new identity won't last long, self control isn't one of the Fu's strong suits. He's already reverting to "Fu speak", despite his early attempts to distance himself from his previous handle. The "Big Tent" is a ringer, like the peasant in Monty Python's "Holy Grail": "Did you hear that, what a give-away!" I've always suspected that "Sayfu" was more of a character or persona than an actual representation of a F&S blog user - he was quite content to hide behind that creation. Clinch makes me laugh, though, just as Fu did. Witness "I'm well read, and a brilliant person..." Should have went on, "...in the Ann Coulter canon". Priceless!

Interesting that when you all gather under the dome, you don't want any poor folks, street people, drug dealers, within miles of your gathering. Rather humorous.
