50 Great American Skills May Issue

Uploaded on May 03, 2009

If that is the best that they can come up with for Texas and Indiana I need to cancel my subscription. I want to hear about things that will make me a better hunter---not how to open a beer with a dollar bill or how to slip my hunting buddy a reverse mickey so I don't have to hear him snore.

Man i agree with you. Montana had the least of all things I would have thought of. Although some states were fantastic.

Some states were good. It just seems to me that a state like Texas would have way more to add than just opening beer with a dollar. And I live in a state that borders Indiana so I know for a fact that they can do better than the snoring thing. Maybe just a tad more thought should have been put in to it.

I guess they tried to do too many states, quantity over quality. These guys can write better than that.

Sr. Editor: do not go on the TV show "the apprentice", you would get some bad news fast. Yep, I would fire *you* not the poor saps that were handed this flawed assignment.

I was pissed about the dollar bill thing, too. I don't know if it was meant to be a serious piece, though. But skinning a rattler and pulling boneless fillets off one would've been a good one for Texas. Oh well, they're only human at F&S, I guess.
