I use both mossy oak and realtree camo, just depends on what I can get a deal on. Ammo I use mostly federal, but I also use some winchester and remington.

i think it depends on the season of hunting for camo. during spring turkey season i like to use mossy oak breakup. but during bow and gun season i really like realtree hard woods hd. and as for ammo being from ohio i like winchester slugs and federal rifle cartridges.

most of the big camo guys make primarily hardwood patterns. I live in the high desrt with mixed conifer, hardwood shrub, rocks and sage brush.
I end up making a lot of my own camo to fit where I am at.
OLd clothes with a neutral natural tone and a handful of acrilic paints.

I use strictly Mossy Oak camo because I've had deer within 15 feet of me while still hunting and they didn't see me. I use Remington core lokt ammo for deer, winchester ballistic tips for varmints and Federal for squirrels.

I like surplus Swiss Alpenflage best of all. The Swiss always make great stuff and surplus is cheap.

Camo, anything white or tan; for ammo, Federal Premium for my rifle, for my shotgun I'm not so picky. Although I used a couple boxes of Winchester Dry-Lok steel 2 3/4" bb's for geese and had great success. But then my boxes of Remington Sportsmen hi-speed steel 3" bb's didn't produce as many birds. Maybe it was my shooting, maybe not. I remember hearing my patterns hit the bird quite a few times but nothing...they just kept on flying. With the Dry-Lok's I was hitting birds at further range and knocking them down. Interesting phenomena.
