That sounds fine, but one of the guys i hunt with said that he went to cabelas to get really small simple stuff like a certain kind of ammo and some matches, and it's not that they were out, it's that they never had any in their store!?!?! You'd think they'd have all of that stuff too.
This was at the cabelas in minnesota by the way.

We just got a Cabelas in Winnipeg Manitoba! It's only about 12 hours away, but it might be worth the drive! :o)

I'm envious. We have been waiting for a Cabelas in Denver four about fiver years now, they have bought the land but simply have not started building.

Great stores, but there are definetly cheaper places to find your outdoor gear. How do you think they pay for the museum-like displays, mounts, sculptures, etc. Plus they put all the mom-and-pop outdoor shops out of business in a 50 mile radius.

HA yea i agree 60256. I have been to the Cabelas in Scarborough twice since it opened last spring. I went for some simple fishing stuff such as a particular brand and style of hook i use. They were out and the store was a disaster. I also tried to upgrade my fishing license and the three people behind the customer service window where they do the licensing had no idea how to do it. I had to have them give me the rule book and then i explained to them what needed to be done. It was pathetic. Their selection of fishing stuff in that store is very poor.

I take that back...its not the selection of stuff, its the fact that they run out of basic stuff when needed.

Your so lucky. I wish they would build more cabelas. I have a bas pro near my house, but I love cabelas and have never been to their store. I'll have to make a special trip to one someday.

We were going to get one here in CO until the economy turned south, hopefully they will still build it eventually.
