For trout, in small streams i love dropping a salmon egg in an eddy and letting it swirl around. Catch many trout this way. And i don't feel like i'm bait fishing because my line is always moving, drifting, etc.
My favorite lure of all time is a texas rigged worm
i love trout magnets but this year all im gettin good fish off of is worms
Loved the redworm for years. But they're hard to come by here in the northwest, unless you raise your own. Since I've moved here though I've discovered white shoepeg corn covered with shrimp oil to work quite well.
Anything made by Rapala !
ACME made Little Cleo spoons. They will catch any fish, anywhere, anytime!
well i use alota lures but i reallyy like red/orange trout magnets, swometimes i hook a salmon egg to the end of it which work sgreat
jitterbug is my all time favorite lure and as far as bait goes id have to say leeches
Definately a 1/8 oz. Kastmaster.
I like to troll/drift fish with live bait, trout, salmon, lakers.this year I have caught more salmon on nightcrawlers, even a 6 pound laker on a crawler! Some years ago a 12 year old kid caught a 15 pound salmon on a worm!!I know this kid was hooked for life!!
for and pan fish i use a bait harnest with a leech and caught a 2 lb. black crappie
Rapala has my vote, if I had to narrow it down to one I would have to go with the orginal floater due to its versatility.
In-line spinners for fake bait, and nightcrawlers or crawdads for live bait.
I love a rapala countdown or floater for artificial. i like leeches for live bait, they live forever. otherwise crawlers will do.
Gizzard shad are my favorite for large cats crawls for just about everything else.
lures:1)pro buzz buzzbait in yellow.
2)arbogast hula popper in white belly and black stripes
3)zoom trick worm in watermelon seed green
bait:1)garden-dug worms
2)wasps(little hard to get)
3)grub worms
anything made by mepps. They sell them at www.mepps.com
i like northland thumpers ive caught alot of crappie, white bass, and i caught the biggest small mouth on one at 15ins
night crawlers
Panther Martin Rainbow Trout Spinner
Culprit Tomato 7.5 inch worm on a Texas rig.
Wooly Bugger (it may not be a pretty fly, but it catches trout)
Have to go with a wacky rigged worm
Powerbait is my favorite. I always remember using it as a child!
Fresh cut skip jack for catfish and catalpa worms. Ive caught more bass on small lures,1/8uonce cotton cordell rattletrap type baits. Plastic worm a 4" renagade tequila sunrise curly tail worm with as little weight as possible. Rainbow trout power bait. Hadnt gotten into brown trout but all info says big crawlers or small crank baits.
The fly I use that is "tweaked" so that no one else in the world has one just like it...I don't think?
trout magnets are my favorite. I use them for crappie, bream, and trout. they are the most effective lure on the market today that can catch all three of these types of fish on a regular basis. They are cheap and they come in all sorts of great colors. check out their website www.troutmagnet.com
I'm partial to Zara Spooks and buzzbaits. It is really hard to have just one favorite in such a multi-faceted sport. My philosophy is any fish/any time/any way but topwater for bass and northerns is probably my favorite.
I like the "mimic Minnow" for bass and crappie, for catfish I like bloodbait, not the dough bait kind but my dads homeaid bait made from real beef blood fresh form the locker.
Just about anything made by Rapala esp the little top water minnows.
Jig and shiners for walleyes and plastics for bass. For muskie I would say a bucktail spinner.
Worms, Worms, Worms, Worms,Worms, Worms,Worms, Worms, Worms,Worms, Worms, Worms,Worms, Worms, Worms, live or fake cant beet them anytime.
Chartrouse curly tailed jig with a minnow
My favorite lure is a large spinnerbait. My second most favorite bait is a crankbait.
salad shrimp (with my secret mojo curing process) trout & kokanee just love'em
