You could help by writing a letter to your local papers and see how much support you have and then take it to the next level and start a petition. Good luck with this !
you should write to your state reps as well and encourage fellow hunters to do the same. good luck!
Yes. Who are these people that make these rules. How dare they intrude on our hunting traditions. I don't like htem.
The law does need to be changed. I know alot of people who work six days a week and sundays are there only days off and hate the fact that they cannot hunt on Sundays. I see no reason why people should not hunt on Sundays, other than this out dated law.
It was put up to a vote in my county and it was voted down so the majority of the people must not want to hunt on Sunday.
Intresting. No hunting on Sundays but fishing is allowed, I'll never understand it.
Some of my best times worshiping the Creator God of the Universe have been out in the wild, away from the hustle and bustle of civilization.
QS, correct me if I'm wrong, isn't Saturday the actual day of rest not Sunday?
You can hit them with the Separation of Church and State which isn't in the Constitution to begin with!

I think that would depend on the denomination you are a member of. In my mind it has less to do with the day and more to do with what you do on that day. I can't recall there being anything in the Bible about the specific days. So that's what I'm coming from. Again, correct me if I'm wrong
I am a Christian, and I think that "no hunting on Sundays" is absolutely ridiculous.
Many are the Sundays I have fit in several hours of hunting before church, then a break for a couple of hours to attend (and lead the praise team), then right back out there!
Hunting on Sunday isn't a "problem". I hunt on Sunday's. I leave the stand in time to make the Worship Service, have din-din with the wife, then back to the stand by 230pm. Evening services start at 6:30pm. Unless I kill one right at dark, I can also make evening services!!
Fishing/hunting on Sunday is NOT a problem. Allowing fishing/hunting to get in the way of Sunday worship is.
Bubba
it is legal here in iowa but the menonites will not let you hunt their ground on sundays
i agree with bubba, sunday is suposed to be a day of worship and a day of rest in that order. I see hunting as my most calming past time next to tying flies
I think that after church my wife, children, and grandchildren like Pop Pop to visit instead of taking off to the woods like the other 6 days. I tend to agree with them.
I agree with you, Sarge01, but I know people that the only day they can get into the wood is Sunday. So, in my mind, hunting should facilitate people with all jobs and walks of life.
This should be a personal choice not a government mandate.
I enjoy hunting on Sundays. Personally, I have had some of the best meditation time with the Lord from a tree stand.

^^ Maby PA will finally change this law
I could not agree more. Hunting should be enjoyed seven days a week.
