Just read that July, 2009 was the coldest July on record in some areas of Michigan. It's been one of the best trout stream fishing summers I can remember. Though farmers were wishing for warmer temps.
I hear that Alaska has also been cold but some areas of the south and northwest have high heat or drought conditions. Is this what you are seeing? Any obvious effects on wildlife.
Summer's far from over, but it will be interesting to see if this carries over into winter, too.
