I really enjoy hunting about the first 2 weeks of gun season here in GA. That would be the last week of October and the First week of November.

First 2 weeks in Nov. for deer. However, the nice spring mornings for turkey are a welcome treat after a long winter.

I'm out with a firearm 12 months of the year. Here in my high plains state their is always something to shoot at , if you want to. Getting out in mother natures great show room is pleasure enough most days, and my rifle range gets used at least 3 days a week the year around.

i love winter hunts. crisp cold air, clear dawn mornings, and movement. unfortunatly winter seems to be coming later and later here. i didnt see a snowflake all of deer season, nor most of rabbit season.

Never a bad time to hunt but my favorite is bow hunting after the 1st frost. Seems to get the deer moving and gets rid of the dang bugs.

Any time is a good time to go to the mountains but I enjoy the fall the most. Hunting season is open, fish are biting, the animals have new antlers, various small animals are seen, the leaves are a fabulous with skies of pink and vivid blue except for the occasional dark clouds of snow. My horses have slick hair and have been rode enough over the summer that they are easy to handle. Days like this make it great to be alive.

I love a good winter hunt with some snow on the ground. Easy to see the deer and easy to track them.

I like hunting ducks late Nov & Dec when deer season is open. Wearing my whites in the snow, while everyone else is chasing deer. It doesn't get any better than that.

End of October all the way through November. Temp. rut. Feels like hunting weather. Leaves changing color, harder to see, but awesome. Chance for snow, love sitting in a tree with snow falling, nice and relaxing. Not to much though. Sat through blizzards before. Looked like a white blob in a tree. No mosquitos. Love the morning fall hunts, nice and brisk. Just listening to the woods wake up.
