Campfire
What do you consider a wilderness? The swamps in the south? The mountains in the west? The deep woods of the north country? Somewhere else that you consider a wilderness?

I think Alaska is by far what I call a wilderness! Someday I would love to see it.
The "Beartooth" mountains in Montana............My favorite place to be.
All you mentioned.... Anywhere theres no comforts of civilization for miles and miles...
First time I saw the Rockies I thought it was the most beautiful place on Earth, the Tetons were fantastic. Then I went to Alaska and NW Canada and was completely blown away. Nothing like it.
Anywhere you can hike or paddle and motorized transport is not allowed. No cabins, preferably no electronics, and you carry out everything you brought in.
About eight miles from where I'm sitting just now, just beyond that last peak I can see from my window, up there in the Wind River Range of the Northern Rockies. No cell service, no motorized vehicles, no mercy. Spectacular majesty and absolute beauty as far as the eye can see, and you can see pretty far at over 10,000 feet.
