I have been hunting 47 acres for approx. 10 years now, have seen deer, bear, turkey, bobcat, coons and some other less desirable critters.
I am now ready to downsize my acreage and want to give some other hunting/fishing enthusiasts a crack at it. My house is now for sale with 47 acres of Nelson County mountain land, a well stocked pond and plenty of other areas within the county to hunt and fish (some great trout fishing on the Tye River)
If you like kayaking or canoeing we have some great rivers around: Tye, James, Rockfish and Piney River.
My whole family loves this county, there is so much to do outdoors here, plus having 3 craft breweries and about 11 wineries here doesn't hurt either.
