Please help get the word out!!
Obummer wants to honor Jane Fonda as a "Woman of the Century"
We do not have to stand by without comment and see her "honored". I remember this well. For those who served and/or died never forgive a traitor, she really was a traitor. If you never forwared anything in your life please forward this so that everyone will know!!!!
A traitor is about to be honored .
This is for all the kids born in the 70's and after who do not remember, and didn't have to bear the burden that our fathers, mothers and older brothers and sisters had to bear. Many have forgotten how Ms Fonda betrayed not only the idea of our country but specific men who served and sacrificed during the Vietnam War. The first is from an F-4E pilot, Jerry Driscol and former Commandant of the USAF Survival School and a POW in the Hanoi Hilton. Dragged from a cesspit of a cell, cleaned, fed and dressed in clean PJ's he was ordered to describe for a visiting American "Peace Activist" the lenient and humane treatment he'd received. He spat on Ms. Fonda and was clubbed and still suffers from double vision from the severe beating. Col. Larry Carrigan spent 6 years in the Hanoi Hilton and when they found out that Ms Fonda was going to visit them they figured out a way to finally get a message back home. Each man secreted a small piece of paper with his SSN on it in the palm of his hand and when Ms
Fonda and the camerman walked by she asked things like "Aren't you sorry you bombed babies? and "Aren't you grateful for the humane treatment from your benevolent captors ? The prisoners thought it was just an act on her part. They placed the small pieces of paper in her hand as they shook hands with her. When she got to the end of the line to the shocked belief of the POW's she turned to the officer in charge and handed him all the little pieces of paper. Three men died from the beatings, Col. Carrigan was almost number four but he survived which is the only reason we know of her actions that day. These first hand experiences do not exemply someone who should be honored as part of "100 Years of Great Women" Lest we forget ..."100 Years of Great Women" should never include a traitor whose hands are covered with the blood of so many patriots. There are few things I have a strong visceral reactions to, but being a Vietnam Veteran, Hanoi Jane's participation in blatant treason, is one of them. Please, please let as many people as you can know about this.
The last thing we need is for Obummer to honor her, this is about par for something he would do.
Need a new word for this,,,, DISGUSTAPATING!
Sarge, hate to tell you this but it's a false email chain. Obama is not intending to honor the traitor.

My buddy who is a Vietnam Vet sent me the email and I trusted him, sorry for the info, I checked the sights you gave me, that dosen't change the fact that I still can't stand the traitor because of the fact that she posed on the top of Viet Cong guns, bad mouthed our troops, said what bad things the GI's were doing and wined and dined with the enemy IS NOT false and she is a low life as far as I am concerned and I am sure I am not the only one that feels that way. Sorry again for the old post I trusted my buddy.
No worries Sarge. I agree, Fonda will always be a low life traitor.
While Hanoi Jane wins no favor here...you guys really do need to check info before pulling the trigger.
Do you reply to the Nigerian banks that claim to be holding bazillions for you if only you send "a small transfer fee"?
Through repetition Jame Fonda has been turned into a bogey man. A celeb who lent name recognition to the N Vietnamese she now elicits a Pavlovian response in people prone to being influenced by such things. I listened to Rush and Sean for a couple hours today, they do the same thing and they've been doing it for ten years. Demonizing and repetition fueling anger and hate.
Watch this.
Bill Ayers!!! Gotcha eh?
RockRat, while I can see and understand your comparison, there's at least one glaring difference, Rushbo, Hannity, et al are talk, while poeple I knew died in Vietnam.
Jane gets no respect from me...even though she was exercising her right as an American citizen...her actions were certainly in bad taste.
Hoski,
Consorting with the enemy during an armed conflict is treason, nothing more, nothing less. I am not in the business of forgiveness of traitors and never forget one. No bogey man, just the facts.
Hoski & Rat,
From your liberal posts and info I question the validity of your information sometimes too. Of course liberals consider themselves perfect and have never made a mistake and want to jump on someone who does. At least I am man enough to admit that I made one, more than most liberals that I know do. Jane Fonda's actions caused the death of many American POW's. She is garbage and a traitor and anyone that takes up for her is suspect too.
WAM, Sarge,
I fully understand why both seem to be looking for an argument but you have none with me on this specific topic.
Nowhere in my post can it be construed that I "take up" with Ms. Fonda.
Heck, I'm wrong all the time, as evidence I submit that at times I envision you as reasonable men...then I read where the Obama's refuse to place Christmas trees in the White House and Obama channels money to his Muslim bros.
Nuff said.
Jane Fonda gets no respect from me either, she's just some celebrity and if anything I disregard what celebs have to say more than us regular folks.
With the release of the LBJ tapes and Johnsons phone call to Nixon to please stop the treasonous secret contacts with the Vietnamese in an attempt to scuttle the peace talks the word treason deserves some perspective. Prolonging the war caused how many deaths? This week another person will die and a couple more will lose an arm, a leg, an eye or two.To this day I think Laos averages 80 a year, and they weren't even in the war.
Sarge being a liberal I welcome challenges to the validity of what I say and offer links to fact based sources when asked. I blow it sometimes too. I no longer take at face value anything from people like Michael Moore as they twist the truth beyond recognition or in many cases just outright fib. There are plenty of Michael Moores exploiting the emotions of both sides of most issues.
There is a bar near our Camp that has Hanoi Jane urinal targets in the mens room urinals. I love going there. Piss on Jane Fonda and the bum who wants to honor her.
Hoski,
I have no argument regarding your post on the traitor Jane Fonda, none at all. So why DID Obama kill the Keystone Pipeline? Appeasing the environazi's or ensuring a big cash flow to the Muslim bro's? Which is it?
There are many in this country who think Obama and his crowd are on a mission to tear down this country as we know it and make it more like the European sewer.
In my opinion, Obama is either a traitor or an incompetent idiot put where he is by the money men.
WAM
Rat, where do you get your facts on Laos?
WAM,
I'm glad the issue concerning fonda has been put to rest.
However, concerning the Keystone pipeline being tied to either the environmentalists or somehow "his Muslim bros", I take a little exception to.
The latter, your alleged Muslim connection, I'll just dismiss as a weak attempt at provocation. Either accept the man is a Christian as evidenced by his earlier association with the good Rev. Wright, (which we know he disavowed because of Wright's comments) or post proof Obama has tangible ties to the Islamic faith.
The former, (environmentalists) is another weak attempt at rhetoric. As I've posted before, we in this nation have a process whereby decisions concerning the possible harm to our environment are studied. The EPA was created to be largely independent of political pressure...as I'm quite sure you know. I have posted previously my position on the pipeline, I favor it, as long as the majority of citizens affected have agreed to the construction.
Further, I firmly believe the Republican controlled House tied the pipeline to the extension of the payroll tax break as a way to box Obama into a no win position. By not overriding the EPA Republicans get to claim Obama is pandering to the greenies and somehow doesn't want jobs, which is utterly ridiculous. If he had attempted to override the EPA, Republicans could then crucify him as a President who thinks he's a king who can disregard legislative process.
And where you get the proposition that Obama wants this country to become "more European" sounds very much like another repeat of the various conspiracy theories...hogwash.
Wonder what Hanoi Jane would have to say about these number facts...
GUN LOGIC 101
An interesting letter in the Australian Shooter Magazine this week:
"If you consider that there has been an average of 160,000 troops in
the Iraq Theater of operations during the past 22 months, and a total
of 2112 deaths, that gives a firearm death rate of 60 per 100,000
soldiers. The firearm death rate in Washington, DC is 80.6 per 100,000 for the same period. That means you are about 25 per cent more likely to be shot and killed in the US capital which has some of the strictest gun control laws in the U.S., than you are in Iraq.
Conclusion: The U.S. should pull out of Washington.
At the very least, the former Mrs. Turner is unbalanced and a lousy actress to boot. Barbarella anyone?
Lousy X of Turners shutdown a lot...thousands and thousands of acres of potentially great outdoor recreational property because the Turner's bought it up, and posted it. Only their elitist friends could enjoy it. Big tracts of land in New Mexico, and in Montana.
:-) In Laos WAM, but I have to say, I've never heard an unkind word about Americans or the US military. Usually it's out of touch lefties that pull the bomb victim stuff. Laotians do nuance. Statistics have been getting better as far flung provinces have received better community clinics and communications with the capital have improved. The USA by the way has been by far the largest funder of UXO removal. The Vietnamese who used the place (against international agreements they made) as both a transshipment road for arms and to lead a civil war in the north, have done zero for UXO except to provide landmines in the ongoing counterinsurgency against Hmong. You can probably google and get all the info you want but as I said watch out for outraged lefty American victim types.
Hoski,
If the Middle Eastern powers are not his "bro's", I don't know who is. Bowing to the Saudi king, meddling in the affairs of Egypt, Syria, etc. shows me he is very sympathetic to them while being an apologetic to the rest of our allies and enemies. He is either a traitor or an idiot as evidenced by his attitude toward foreign policy, which shoule be in our best interest. I never said he was a Muslim. I would never classify him as a real Christian either. JMO
As far as boxing Obama into a no-win position. Hey, that's politics. See how the rest felt about being held hostage to Obamacare? Tough teats, big league politics is the name of the game here. He won't find it any easier in his second term (if elected) with Republican and Tea Party gains in the House and Senate after the 2012 election cycle. He'll really be crying then! Time to hitch up his big boy panties about now.
Just wondering, Rat. I have not been in that neighborhood for 40 years and another 40 years would be too soon.
WAM,
This implication that Obama bows in supplication to foreign dignitaries is getting a little old. I'm quite sure some here would rather see Obama swagger into their presence six gun strapped on his hip, but that's just as ridiculous as the assertion that Obama desires a weak foreign policy. Remember, real power doesn't need flaunting.
As for you implying Obama is channeling money to "muslims", then the same can be said for every past President who was in office while our country purchased foreign oil.
As for meddling in Egypt, Syria, or anywhere else is concerned, what would you prefer, more propping up of dictators who are friendly to the west, more military intervention (and it's costs) or maybe actually walking the talk about Democracy?
ObamaCare...you need to remember that 18 months was spent on this legislation. It was his big goal that he campaigned on. So your (and others') assertion that the country was held hostage to it's passage is ludicrous. At the time, a majority of polls showed most citizens in favor of the package and an overwhelming majority favored it's individual components.
As for projected GOP and Tea Party gains in 2012, we'll just have to wait and see. One thing to remember here, Congressional approval stands at a whopping 14%...and I think the country clearly sees which party is being obstructionist in nature, and which one isn't.
I wouldn't hold my breath expecting big GOP gains.
If a few house seats are returned to Democrats, then maybe we'll see some real "ramming" that the talkers whine about.
Hoski, saying the same thing over and over again does not make it true. It is obvious that the Demo's are the obstructionist.
From Real Clear Politics:
Since 11/27/2009 there has continuously been more opposed to Obama and Democrats' Health Care Plan

Repeal of Health Care Law: Favor/Oppose

"Nearly three-quarters, or 74 percent, say the new law is causing an impediment to job creation."
http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2012/01/19/most-small-business-fear-heal...
PigHunter,
Did you see where I said "at the time" polls showed a majority favored?
That's easy enough to look up too.
As for obstructionists, tally up which party has employed a huge increase in the filibuster.
Next, ask yourself which pary's negotiators walked out of talks with the President?...Twice.
I can't seem to post a link Pig, but Pew showed earlier this year where a sizable percentage of the people who don't like the ACA, don't like it because it didn't go far enough. When you add those who want a more generous plan with those who like this one ok, you get a majority. Also each individual portion of the plan polls very well, except the mandate, no one wants to be forced to get insurance, just like no one wants to pay taxes, but the plan has to pay for itself.
Being a Democratic plan it's paid for. We don't borrow to enact legislation like those 2 wars, 2 huge tax breaks and Medicare Part D.
You are so full of crap your eyes must be brown.
Has Obama run up more debt than all other Presidents COMBINED?
Oops! Just Washington through Reagan. But, he's done it in only 19 months. America may not survive 4 years.
http://cnsnews.com/news/article/72404
Hoski,
We can agree to disagree. Time will tell who was right.
Wam,
Agreed.
Jere, do you purposely disregard the posts I make dispelling that ridiculous claim concerning Obama's spending...or is it you just don't want to know?
Wasn't rediculous and destructive? lol! 5 trillion in new debt created driving us near BK, and Obama, and the Ivy League left that designed, passed the destructive stimulus bill didn't realize that GOVT can not create ONE REAL JOB? ! And that isn't ridiculous? Hoski, you are a total meathead. Want to talk about the results? NAH, didn't think so.
If I were to stoop to actually converse with "he who shall not be directly addressed", I'd simply ask just who signs the paychecks for our...military, law enforcement officers, fire fighters, game wardens, park rangers, or BLM employees?
I'd ask him if he thought anyone investigating plane crashes and how to make flying safer was worthy, or if the folks at the CDC served a useful purpose? Are the folks at the National Weather Service doing pilots or maritime sailors just wasting our tax dollars?
I'd urge him to contact any of the above citizens and ask if they thought their paychecks were fictional.
Hoski,
The US EPA was set up as an agency of the Untied States Government. If it was really intended to be seperate from the power base would each president be able to appoint a new director? I have worked in close association with EPA for 25 years and I can assure you the Gorilla goes into and comes out of the closet depending on the administration. They are not fair and balanced in approach across administrations.
Beekeeper,
I can find nothing to debate in your statement.
Instead of arguing over whether the agency is worthy, I'd suggest finding a way to remove political pressure. To be sure, safeguards would need to be established so the EPA couldn't run roughshod over everything.
However, as I posted just above your post, our Govt agencies do indeed "produce jobs". To my above small list, I'd add construction and maintenance of our road system, water and sewer distribution, funding for construction costs to our airports and shipping terminals...and on and on.
Not real jobs. Tax payer funded, and would be better if the subbed them out to private business. No one seems to understand the huge imbalance we have between the increased public union jobs, and the decreasing private sector jobs that pays the bills. The EPA? Virtually a communist organization. To be against that Keystone Pipeline is a case in point. No need to go any further.
Canada is going to build the pipeline. We are going to keep fooling around and they are going to build the pipeline to the coast. They aren't going to give us much time to keep putting it off. They have said they are going to build it with us or without us. We had better wake up.
Somebody ask "he who shall not be directly addressed" if cops, fire fighters, etc. should be private industry jobs...maybe if they were private they could pick and choose who to respond to.
Pay the bills? I guess according to him, the fore mentioned folks don't pay taxes on their wages huh?
EPA a communist organization? What a maroon...he's right, no need to go further.
Sarge...YOU are acting ignorant...and again. Of course they pay taxes. BUT their salary is paid by the private sector...get it? The private sector is being mismanaged by socialism as the governance. When the private sector shrinks cops, fireman, the public emplyees suffer, and have to be cutback like the teachers, who have voted democrat for decades are finding out. Pension plans going under. If you were capable of understanding some of these public union contracts..California has some beyond belief...double, triple time crap, early retirements, work another public union job for several years, and draw another pension..walk off the job after a 4 hr. shift, it being a full day, and have to bring in a total new crew to get something done, and on and on. The posters on these threads are head shakers as far as knowing what is going on. Hope the debates so far have provided you somewhat of a clue, and the national campaign will clue you in as well....but I won't bet anything on it.
Sarge,
Do a little research into the pipeline issue. It's not as simple as Canada building a pipe from Alberta to Texas.
It's part of a pretty big system already in place, the Keystone portion is an extension. Many annalists have stated that building the pipeline, the existing network would be reduced to half capacity.
Then there's the issue of the contaminants in tar sand oil. It must be processed out before it's useful, thereby increasing it's cost.
I've posted before that I support it, as long as our affected citizens understand it's impact and agree to it.
Simply put...it's not just a cut and dry net plus.
Safu,
I beg your pardon, I am acting ignorant. You are a good one to be calling names from some of the posts you have been posting.
BS...The pipeline and route has already been approved. The additional oil that would be pumped has already been published. The Bakken fields in Montana, and neighoring state have a massive amount of oil. Remember when liberals said we had but 20 years, or so left of our oil resource at present use as the reason to turn to Green Energy? I'd say they were only off by several hundred years. No, the pipeline has some huge advantages. Consumer costs would go down immediately!!!!!! No liberal is going to talk about the effect the high price of fuel has on other products. Why doesn't someone mention that Obama WANTED $5 a gal gasoline?!! Why doesn't someone mention that Obama hired an energy guy that wanted $10 a gal gasoline!! Is everyone clueless what that would do to our present terrible economy?...probably not. The democrat gov. of Montana says they will go around Obama and start building it. He's plenty peeved along with a lot of other democrats.

Has Obama run up more debt than all other Presidents COMBINED?
Oops! Just Washington through Reagan. But, he's done it in only 19 months. America may not survive 4 years.

Jere, do you purposely disregard the posts I make dispelling that ridiculous claim concerning Obama's spending...or is it you just don't want to know?
Beekeeper,
I can find nothing to debate in your statement.
Sarge,
Do a little research into the pipeline issue.
You are so full of crap your eyes must be brown.
