Its always time to hit the lakes. Nice looking fish in the pic.
I'VE been fishing since the snow was falling and i have to say i have caught my fair share.
yeah i agree i have already caught some real nice fish this year.
The cats are starting to bite well here too. Tight Lines guys.
I am an avid catfish angler, I fish for them every weekend like clockwork, several weekdays as well if I have the time.
The bite is always on in Texas
me too.I fsh alot at tournament ponds where they pay if u win and thats alot of fun making money and catching some big fish.It dont get no better than that.
I'm kind of new to the whole catfishing thing as I just really started going for them this year. So far I have found chicken liver to produce the most fish, but I haven't tried but three or four kinds of bait so far.
try shell on shrimp
rig it on a circle hook and wait
Try some live blue gills thats what you will catch your big one's on.

ok me and my dad are going catfishing to night at smith mountin lake and i was wondering what is the best bait to catch a catfish on?
try somke live blue gill if u can buy or catch any for the big flat heads.Or you can get some chicken livers and shrimp also.
Few things better than a summer evening/night by the pond in a lawn chair with a heavy rod, a mixture of nightcrawlers, minnows, and chicken livers, cold liquid refreshment, and my son.
I live in Manila Arkansas, and i got trout lines all out in big lake. me and dad have done great there so far!! we already got over 200 pound this year!! this is where they are at boys!! lastyear we caught a spoonbill catfish that was a sight!!
