The Tip Board
I have been fishing since I was a kid and one tool I always make sure to keep in my box is a set of nail clippers. They are small, lightweight, affordable, and can clip any strength line ( well maybe not when sea fishing). They are also safe for a child to use and you don't need to worry about using your good knife. You can also clip your line all the way down when tying swivels and lures.
i think this deserves the DFBN AWARD!!!!
DFBN?
I never thought about using nail clippers to cut my line. Interesting tip!
Its the "Dont Fry Bacon Naked Award" in honor of that famous reader tip. It is awarded to the most obvious tips submitted
OH ok ev. sorry lol, i've never heard of that, just like fisher girl never heard of using nail clippers.

i use the same thing but i get the key chain size and put them on with my keys along with a small folding knife and clip it on my belt loop.
