Fishing on Dale Hollow Lake

A couple of friends and I are going on a week long trip to Dale Hollow Lake next month. I've never been there before and know nothing about the lake other than that it's cold enough for smallmouth bass and lake trout. Can anyone give me some tips on what to fish for and what methods to use? We'll be spending our week on the Kentucky portion of the lake, if that makes a difference.
