Fly Fishing

Dry Fly floatant holder

Uploaded on August 07, 2011

I was trying to find ways to keep my fly fishing necessities close at hand for when i need them. I got places found for everything but my fly floatant. I was thinking about what i could use to keep it close when i thought of my old cell phone holder. It hooks right on your belt and if its big enough it holds a few different things in there pretty tight so they wont fall out.

So if you need something to hold your floatant or anything else thats pretty small, go and get a cell phone holder that has a flap that goes over the top and has elastic sides.

A good one for me, is a fanny pack. You can hold everything you need if you consolidate down to the season you are fishing...fly boxes, floatant, tools, leaders/tippet etc. and can be worn out of the way of your casting. Fly vests with things hanging can be a real nuisance entangling your flyline.
