Freezing Fish Fillets

Uploaded on February 15, 2009

When freezing small fish fillets, such as perch or bass fillets, fill the plastic bag with water to the top. Next, squeeze out all remaining air and seal the bag. This prevents the fillets from getting freezer burn and preserves the freshness.

Good Tip,

I do this with a lot of my fish and it always makes the fish taste fresh.

So does a food saver. I use mine all the time, prolongs the freshness and prevents freezer burn if you get a good seal on them.

I did this with all my fish before I got a foodsaver for X-mas. It's a great tip.
