The Tip Board
You can make your own fish stringer in less than 5min.
2 foot of 1/4in diameter nylon or regular rope(rot resistant)
1 large metal or plastic nail about 6in long
1 large metal or plastic ring with 2in diameter
2 zip ties
First burn the ends of the rope so they will not fray, then place the rope in the metal ring and over lap the other side by about one inch and secure it with a zip tie, then take the nail and stick it on the other end in the middle of the braided rope and bring the excess up and again secure it with a zip tie. (If you don't already have the nail and ring you can buy them at at you local hardware store).
Now you have a very cheap, strong, and versatile fish stringer that will last many season and stores easily unlike metal stringers and outlast regular stringers that end up rotting in your tackle box.
