Use shotgun shells as make-shift bobbers

If I'm out of bobbers and dont feel like buying a pack, I just take some spent shotgun shells, one a size bigger than the other (12 and 16 ga. work well) and put my line one the middle of the hole before pressing them together. They stay on the line pretty well and the yellow or red shells stick out very well in the water.
