New High Tech Sonar Units
Uploaded on February 10, 2009From High Definition to Side Imaging, sonar unit technology is really growing. However the prices are growing right along with them. With some of these units costing several thousand dollar, are they worth it? Are they practical for the casual fisherman, competitive fishermen, or just the pro's?

For me they are over kill and over priced. Just show me how deep the fish are and I will take it from there.
The only impressive improvement for me is the addition of gps.

I agree with Charley but i like that you can actualy can see what is on the bottem of the lake
