Does Anyone Albacore Fish The Pacific?
Uploaded on July 16, 2010I am flying down to San Diego to fish for albacore. I have 5 stout 7 foot (ish) rods that I use for all of my saltwater fishing. I have a half dozen penn type reels spooled with 30-50 lb test mono. Would those be okay? What lures and bait would be good to catch them? Could I bring my surf casting 10 foot pole and spinning reel with 50 lb test mono to cast lures at them on the surface? Any tips or shared experiences would be wonderful. Thanks in advance.
