Saltwater
I have fished underwater lights for trout and reds for a few years and had a friend ask me a very obvious question that I had never thought of before.
Have you ever noticed that fish always swim counter clockwise around the lights? I have seen this in Florida and Texas and wonder if it is the case everywhere and if so, what the explanation is.
Thanks
Same as the circling drain or toilet? This may be due to the rotation of the earth. DRaining water will rotate clockwise in the northern hemisphere and counter in the southern. I would guess tornados and huricanes in the southern hemisphere will rotate oppisite that of northern. I bet that fish feel this and swim the way that feels most comfortable.
WC~AR
Using the applied logic, will a ship sink nose first and spin clockwise in the Gulf? Same ship, same set of circumstances, below the equator, yahdee, yahdee, yahdee?
