Bail or No Bail in the Salt?

Uploaded on January 06, 2009

When surf fishing do you go with or without the bail?

Are there any Bailed salt reels out there that can match a Z-bass or a Van Staal?

I stay with bail just because paying 600 or more for a reel is not the easiest thing for a 14 year old to do with lawn mowing money or what I make from selling flys and handmade inline spinners at shows.

I have always used bailed reels. The cost has been a factor as well,I am more of a fresh water fisherman, but I do enjoy hitting the salt several times a year.
