Fly Fishing Davidson River North Carolina very difficult, by threebone.com

I just returned from a 4 day fishing trip on the Davidson river North Carolina. Probably the most difficult fly fishing that I have ever experienced. Finding fish was tough and there are some beautiful stretches of water that weren't holding fish. I did catch 3 Browns; but it took 4 days and I did a lot of exploring. There is some spooky fish as well, even the small hatchery ones, which made it even more frustrating. A great looking place, just tough to fish; and I have a lot to learn now to fish it properly. I caught more on my first trip there a month ago.
