Use a straw for perfect perch jigging!

find some very narrow bendy straws that will fit in the last rod guide. Insert the longer end over the line and through the guide as far as possible so that the bendy part barely sticks out. Now when you jig, whenever there is a bite the straw will break at the bend and you'll know you have one. Works great ice fishing, too!
