Hunting Gear
I returned a Bushnell Trophy Cam because it was only taking videos - no pictures, day or night. Similar issues on the second one. Others on the Internet were reporting similar problems and suggested an illogical solution .. try a plain old Sandisk 2GB SD card ... not the Ultra or other brand of high speed cards. Works just fine with the new card. Would have probably saved the gas and the frustration over the first card but it is always nice going to Cabela's. I will pick up another card before they become scarce ($13-$19). Anything below 4GB is becoming hard to find - the trail cam makers need to design for the high speed, high capacity cards.
Havent bought a Trophy yet, I do have some Trail sentrys, some Moultries and Remington's Ghost. Some of my older Moultries only work with 256 or smaller cards, Strange how these camera makers do not have the foresight to catch these issues. Why would they bulid cameras with such limits on memory? I had put a 512 in one of my Moultries and waited the 3 weeks to get the much awaited photos only to find out the memopry card was blank, memory cards over 256 over load the Moultries memory circuitry.
