Hunting Gear

save your pant legs and shirt pockets

Uploaded on June 16, 2009

Like so many of us,I have outgrown some of my old camo hunting pants and shirts. Rather than give them away or toss them in the garbage I split them apart leaving two legs that draw tight at the ankle making a camo scabbard to put my rifle or shotgun in. It keeps dust, snow and rain off your gun and scope. For your old shirts, save the pockets and sew or hot glue them inside your hunting coat. Place hand warmers in the pockets. Works great for the kidney and lower back area. Jim Spain, Troy, NY

Those ideas sound really great! You can also save camo socks and cut the ends off so you can use them as an armguard for bowhunting.
