IRS has you in the crosshairs
Uploaded on May 13, 2013As if the Benghazi debacle doesn't make the Obama Administration look like tools (blaming a youtube video for the violence); now they get caught influencing the IRS to seek out their enemies for audits. Its really quite amazing that this abuse of power continues unchecked.

This whole thing revolves around the stupidity of our tax system. Under Bush II, the IRS got its hand slapped for going after liberal churches who's congregations were too liberal and who's ministers gave anit Republical sermons.
Who knows what's going on here. The guy that went after the Tea Party groups is a Bush II appointee. That's why Obama is calling the IRS' actions outrageous. So much for his Federal pension. This guy will be working for a conservative social welfare organization soon.
We leave ourselves open to this because we've allowed out tax code to become something every interest group and corporate lobbyist manipulates to their advantage in an effort to cheat on their taxes. Political groups pay taxes. Social welfare organizations do not. What's the difference? Want to figure it out? Hire an ex-IRS employee with your group's political beliefs to schmooze the tax boys and the appropriate Congressmen.
Liberal churches need going after. Church business is church business. Many churches are highly political, raise money for leftist causes, and are illegally tax exempt.
Well then I'm sure you feel the way about conservative churches too. I'm glad you understand the ideas of fairness and separation of church and state...bill of rights thing and all.
I sure do. And the seperation of church and state gets carried to the extreme by liberals. Wanting to destroy Christian values is their goal. And what an inconsistency with liberals supporting Muslims, and attacking Christians like the Catholic Church for instance.
As I see that you're aware, our founding fathers, especially Jefferson, Madison, and Franklin were promoting Deist and Universalist values as the foundations of our nation. I'm not sure they thought much about Islam but they crafted the First Ammendment using Virginia's Statute for Religious Freedom as a model and disestablishment was important to them.
This IRS harrassment of conservatives is turning into a major scandal. Doesn't look like this one is going away as well as Benghazi.

You need only google "thomas jefferson and islam" to find out he did NOT trust them.
Not only that, he urged that they be kept out of the U.S., knowing they would cause problems.

I Gooled like you suggested and found this exerpt from a writing that he and Madison composed as a draft to the preamble of the Virginia Statute on Religious Freedom (basis for the First Ammendment to the US Constitution) "to comprehend within its mantel of protection, the Jew and the Gentile, the Christian and Mahomedan, the Hindoo, and Infidel of every denomination." It looks like he took Patrick Henry's concern that the Church of England was persecuting Baptists to encompass the protection of faith in general.
With all the problems he had with Barbary pirates, he still respected and believed in the protection of their faith. I guess all we can say is that he was truly was a man of strong principles.
And that is what you will find by Googling. The left scrambles to get leftist slanted papers/articles at the forefront as if what you just googled is fact based. The motivation of the left is beyond the 100% level, more like 110% effort. They have to journalist outlets, and use them very wisely. Take any threatening issue to their power, and immediately the "news" sources, the sources of info, are filled with liberal slant/strategy to squelch the threat.
You can find the same in research done by historians over the past 230 years of all sorts of political pursuations. You can't re-write history when the facts are inconvenient. Many of the founding fathers were deists and universalists. Virginia was very open to people of all faiths and went so far as to make it legal. The USA then put it in as one of our fundamental beliefs. It has nothing to do with the media. It has to do with the basic foundations of our democracy.
Not so much so by historians. The accounts written at the time were much more accurate than the "new wave of liberal revisionists" that have surfaced over the years wanting to re-write history so as not to "offend" those they don't want offended, and include them were they need not be included. It's like the pressure liberals are putting on the Washington "Redskins" professional football team to get rid of the racial term "Redskins". It doesn't offend Native Americans because they like to be referred to as warriors, and it wasn't used to be racially motivated, and is not offensive, but to a leftist liberal it is offensive, not "politically correct", and needs to be rewritten.
So, it's a shame to see what Obuma and his lackeys in Congress are doing to Shulman and Learner. They are two loyal Republicans and they were doing good keeping these radical, anti-business crazies in check. These Tea party nuts will ruin the party. It's all political. Look at all the tax payer, govt funded agencies at are far left leaning, politicos that should not get funded because they are politicos like Planned Parenthood...and one of the worst was ACORN, and Obama knew it! Obama worked for ACORN! ACORN created so many channels to hide tax payer money the path couldn't be followed. Congress was forced to investigate it the public awareness was so embarrassing, and it never did do anything I don't think. (70% of jobs are created by small business.) takes on ave. countless hours of work, and it will take on ave. 5 yrs to make the business successful, and produce a profit. They borrow money, and spend their own taking a huge risk of failure. I don't know the percentages, but most fail, and go under. Allegrmtn, says, "So what, tax them at least 10% of their income."
