Rifles
I remember reading or hearing a while back about a survey that was done that said people who drive Fords are much more likely to favor Remington rifles, and people who drive Chevys are much more likely to favor Winchesters. Anyone remember hearing this? Strangely enough from my personal observation I believe there is some truth to it, and I will even take it one step farther - I have noticed an uncanny number of people I have known over the years who drive Dodges who also prefer Rugers. What do you think? Also, let's do our own little survey.
What do you drive? What do you shoot?
I'll start with 1 for Ford/Remington
Ford/Remington
Ford and Brownings
Ford and Brownings/Savage
Ford/Ruger, Remington
Chevy/Remington/Marlin
chevy/weatherby
GMC, Toyota/Remington, Ruger, milsurp
Chevy,/ Remington, Ruger, milsurp ar 15. i think this will be very hard to prove to be true, because alot of people buy what they can get the best deal in, trucks and guns.
Chevy / Remington / Browning
I would be one who would fall under chevy/winchester. Sayin that I prefer remi. shotguns to winchester and vise versa to rifles.
What can I say? I shoot Remington and Winchester; drive Ford and Dodge... (But Ford is my favorite vehicle and Marlin is my favorite gun)
Not a hint of truth to your theory. I drive a Chevy, and hate fords with a passion. I shoot Remingtons almost exclusively (not just rifles), and cannot stand to even touch those sorry excuses Winchester calls rifles or any Winchester for that matter.
Ford/Winchester. But as for trucks, I really don't care, as long as it does the tasks and lasts for years and years. I believe most trucks are built that way with a few I have my doubts about. I don't prefer either or. I'm the same way with rifles, I know Winchester's and Remingtons will do the job for years...but hard to beat the reputation of the M700.
Dodge, Ruger, Savage. With the price of trucks now days I'll drive the cheapest I can find!
Chevy / Remington - Ruger
Let's throw a monkey wrench into the works. I drive a Jeep and I have Remington, Winchester and Browning rifles. All the rifles are accurate and trustworthy just like Chevy's, Fords and even Jeeps.
I drive a dodge and I own remington, winchester, ruger, weatherby and a few others. For what it is worth my favorite rifle is the Reminton 700 BDL, and the Remington 1100 shotguns.
If anyone's interrested I just got to wondering where I saw this so I did a search and it looks like it originated from a blurb that was in American Rifleman magazine in '04 or '05 but I don't have the old issues to check and I don't know where they got their information.
Nothing but Ford/Savage, Marlin
Ford/Winchester/Ruger/Remington/Springfield/S&W/Taurus/etc...
Chevy and Remington.
ford/remington,mossberg,stoeger,marlin,s&w,kahr,colt
Chevy / Remington.
There does seem to be kind of a trend here...
Ford/Remington
Chevy Truck, Dodge Magnum Remington's 1100, 870, 700 Stevens 311 Marlin 30/30,CZ Bobwhite ,Walther PP, S&W 686 Plus, Colt 1911A1, Marlin 22
chevy Mossberg 500 /Knight muzzleloader
Ford/ Remington, Savage, Marlin
Ford/Benelli, Savage, Ruger
Dodge/Ruger here. Now what am I wearing and what are today's lottery numbers? haha
Chevy/Marlin/Savage/Remington/Ruger/Mossberg/Henry/T/C/AMT/Colt/
NOT GLOCK!
Chevy/ Remington 1100
i dont know how there can only be one other person that posted here that like winchesters!
Winchesters have gotten a lot of bad press the past few years, I guess?
OLD SCHOOL Winchester arms were a work of art, at least the ones I had were, I can't speak of the New manufactured ones?
BTW..I own Chevy and Ford vehicles, and Marlin, Remington, Ruger, Winchester, and Savage firearms!
The reviews of the new FNH Winchesters' accuracy that I have read have not been spectacular. I was really expecting more in the gun press, but haven't seen much glowing press about them. I guess it's tough to get excited over 2 inch groups when almost every rifle out there will do better these days. I guess I'd rather push my Chevy than drive a Ford truck....
Chevy/Winchester
dodge/browning and savage
Ford/Remington, Ruger and Weatherby
chevy,dodge,volvo(it was free).winchester,remington.
I have been into jeeps most of my life and s&w handgun like the 686 357mag. Winchester 30-30 because I can get ammo or parts anywhere I happen to find myself.
ford/savage but I honestly doubt there is any statistical truth behind this because the two variable have no correlation.
For me it's Honda/Mossberg, for my fiance its Chevy/Remington
Ford/Winchester
chevrolet/winchester and browning
Chevrolet/Winchester and Ruger
dodge remington and steaven
ferarri rizzini
Ford truck/Winchester rifles/Ruger handgun
Ford/Winchester
chevy diesel and model 12 winchester shotguns, rem 760 06. I have an ithaca w/buck barrel, and an inherited ruger o/u.
Ford/Remington
Guys who drive Toyotas, Hondas, and Nissans must use squirt guns...
ford/chevy/vw= remington, ruger, weatherby, winchester, smith and wesson... you name it, we got it.
