TC black diamond express muzzleloader
Uploaded on February 05, 2009i got a used tc black diamond express last year and used it last deer season. all i can really say is that it was reliable in all conditions. was wondering who else had experience with this particular gun and if anyone knew if this was the same as the XR model. any knowledge about powders, bullets, primers, accuracy, range, anything at all would be appreciated.

My wife got me a Black Diamond for my birthday or Christmas a few years ago, wouldn't have been my first choice, but you got to love a woman who buys you ANY gun. Anyway, I have become quite fond of it and other than sighting it in it has been shot 2 times. One dead deer, and one dead 'yote that I couldn't resist while bear hunting.
I got one a few years back and am well satisfied with it. My son killed his first buck with it as well.
I use musket caps with it, for I find them easier to replace after firing.
I now use an encore, but the Black Diamond still has a slot in the gun cabinet.
