I think that Safu brought up Alinsky awhile back. Interesting story for sure. He definitely has disciples in this Administration. Two of them are Hillary Clinton, and Obama. The guy that made the connection was Glenn Beck. He documented the progressive movement. I would imagine it will get further discussed during this year's campaign.

I can imagine how hard to was for Safu to be "cordial" to folks that are Un-American, and anti-capitalists that have the country in the peril we are in. Really not time to be cordial. There are too many voters that are apathetic that need to be informed. Folks that despise rich people? Folks that want to bleed more tax dollars out of successful folks when it could go to expanding the economy, and creating jobs giving it to the feds given the evidence what it gets wasted on? How happy to be cordial.

At first, I was a little sceptical, but I had noticed the absence of Sayfu posts and the emergence of "Clinchknot". So, I checked out Clinch's profile and read the majority of posts. Wow. That's all I've got to say. Let's run this down a bit, shall we? The new handle? Sayfu has extolled the "virtues" of the clinch knot in fly fishing posts. Constantly referencing er, "Safu"? Check. Disparaging Tenkara? Check. Crushing on April Vokey, and misspelling her name as "Volkey", as the Fu did. Right-O. A little snide regarding Kirk Deeter? Yeah. Posts exhibit Sayfu "syntax". You betcha. Defender of Glenn Beck, Neo-Conservatism, and sworn enemy of anyone who's ever cast a ballot for a Democrat. Yes, yes, and yes. Maybe the move was inspired by Moishe/Jere's call sign switch, but Jere was upfront about the reasons behind it. Fu's last post was 1/24/12, about the time "clinchknot" started posting, and hit the ground running(36 message board posts, 6 comments, and one answer in that short period)...looks like Fu's workload. Give it up, Fu/clinch. The jig is up. It took folks about a day or two to catch on. Do you know what the vetting proccess is? 'Cuz it just happened to you, homeboy. Hang your head in shame, you tiny, tiny person. You don't have the courage of your so-called convictions. The best thing you could do is bow out of the F&S community while you've got a shred of dignity left, instead of trying to keep up the charade. Have you ever read James Thurber's story "The Secret Life of Walter Mitty"? If not you should, because that's you in a nutshell. Pathetic.

backcast- Talk about snickerin..All the libs on this thread desperately playing Sherlock spending time investigating who Clinchknot is!...too funny!!!! The plain truth of all of this is...one's belief system, and it relates to the "formidable years" Once a person's belief system is established, be it daddy was a liberal, maybe a union man, and thought unionism was needed to represent the ave. Joe "fairly", or the need for "come the revolution" like modern day progressives propose, then you will dismiss all evidence to the contrary as it relates to your belief system. I was brought up in a very conservative family, and led to belief one needed to find their niche, develop their skills, and move up the economic ladder if that was what you wanted. A strong sense of values was paramount to that belief. These threads demonstrate the stark contrast in belief systems consistent with the divide we have in our country. I'm sure thankful I'm on my side of the fence. You liberals seem embarrassed to be on your side. Nice diatribe backcast. Don't really think it was worth all the effort though.

WAM,
My comments to bubber are pointing out his hypocritical philosophy, read lie.
We went round and round concerning his views on SocSec and how one just couldn't possibly take out more than they put in, and how he absolutely refused to accept SocSec...that his income was from a private disability benefit.
I thought it strange how his private benefit was annually adjusted by the Federal Consumer Price Index, (you know, that formula the fed uses to calculate benefit amounts)
So my question about bubber paying his taxes as doing his part to pay for our publicly funded libraries (where bubber now goes once a week for internet access because he's too cheap to pay for home access).
Come to think of it, with his being a SocSec recipient, turns out we're paying his taxes too...go figure.
BTW, it's not that I have anything against anyone receiving SDI benefits if deserved, it's just that I find the practice of bad mouthing the system while dependent on same to be hypocritical.
Further, I find bubber's habit of going through all the trouble of dragging his azz to the library and then focusing his posts solely on me as being obsessive in the extreme...I plan to ignore him as being a pest of the snafu/clinchknot caliber.

Narcissistic Personality Disorder
http://www.webmd.com/mental-health/narcissistic-personality-disorder

Narcissism is a term used to describe a focus on the self and self-admiration that is taken to an extreme. The word "narcissism" comes from a Greek myth in which a handsome young man named Narcissus sees his reflection in a pool of water and falls in love with it.

Narcissistic personality disorder is one of a group of conditions called dramatic personality disorders. People with these disorders have intense, unstable emotions and a distorted self-image. Narcissistic personality disorder is further characterized by an abnormal love of self, an exaggerated sense of superiority and importance, and a preoccupation with success and power. However, these attitudes and behaviors do not reflect true self-confidence. Instead, the attitudes conceal a deep sense of insecurity and a fragile self-esteem.

Apparently Homaski is upset due to the fact that I won't tell him EXACTLY what industry I was in (and yes, it was "union"), he feels compelled to just include me in SocSec.

I suppose since Planned Parenthood just held the Susan G. Komen Foundation's feet to the fire that they could no longer fund abortions without the Foundation's support is another subject that Homaski would just as soon "ignore". Oh, well!

The Apollo Alliance is the name of the group as I remember....requiring the Catholic Church to pay for and accept abortions. It would cost Notre Dame $10,000,000 . 25% of all voters are Catholic, and the GOP is making great hay out of identifying Obama as taking away religious freedoms, and Catholics in particular. But first you should know that bubber has repeatedly admitted to being on a disability benefit...and as you know, it's NOT a retirement benefit.
Secondly, being more than a little familiar with retirement accounts I can say I've never, and I repeat never, seen a retirement account where the fund pays according to what the Fed computes the yearly CPI to be.
Simply put, retirement funds payout a fixed number for the rest of one's days and that's it.

Perhaps. There are so many different federal, state, and industry "retirement" plans that one could consume his day checking out each one. I can tell you for duck-pluckin' sure that military pay and pensions are indexed to the CPI, but there have been years that the Feds manipulated the CPI (as always) to limit or eliminate pay increases. Other years, pay budgets were frozen by Congress even when the CPI indicated a raise was due. What's up with food and fuel not being in the CPI. Laughable.

Pathetic.

WAM,
My comments to bubber are pointing out his hypocritical philosophy, read lie.

Question seems rather frivilous to me. Know where Ron Paul makes sense, and he does on a lot of issues especially on how the govt fails to serve the folks, and what needs to be done, and then there are his views on defense, that do make some sense in some areas. Newt is even agreeing with Paul on the need to decide what to defend, and what not to defend, and is a huge waste of money. The discussion surely needs to take place. WAM, of course you're free to educate yourself if you choose concerning "retirements".

I can tell you for duck-pluckin' sure that military pay and pensions are indexed to the CPI, but there have been years that the Feds manipulated the CPI (as always) to limit or eliminate pay increases. backcast- Talk about snickerin..All the libs on this thread desperately playing Sherlock spending time investigating who Clinchknot is!...too funny!!!!
